TV program on Spanish TV about Child victim of Violence in WEstern Sahara

Washington  / Morocco Board News Service-  In an unprecedented wave of xenophobic, anti-Morocco, reporting by the press in Spain, on the Western Sahara conflict, a new milestone has occurred. 
A photo of a child victim from Gaza was presented as a [Western Sahara]  "sahrawi" child, a " victim of Moroccan Violence" during the latest clashes between Moroccan Security forces and protesters. 
The crude propaganda gambit was circulated by Spain's elite media sources, such as the main News agency, EFE, the largest daily newspaper in the country, el Pais. and most other media outlets both from the left to the neo-fascist right. Spanish television stations, took the matter further and produced news programs, complete with eye witnesses that claimed to know this particular child and spoke at length, with teary eyes, (see Video) about the child victim, his siblings and parents, all supposed victims of violence by Moroccan Law enforcement services, in Western Sahara.

However, Research by Moroccan bloggers showed that the images were not from Western Sahara.
On June 21, 2006 an Israeli missile struck a house in the Gaza Strip, which killed a woman and wounded several other people, including two small children who were treated at a local hospital. These image were released by leading Spanish media in their propaganda war to mislead public opinion on the conflict.

Morocco's Ministry of Communication in Rabat denounced the "spirited practices and falsifying of facts and drifts that have befallen in the Spanish media correspondents in Morocco in their coverage of events of violence and vandalism committed in [western Sahara city of] Al Laayoune. 
On November 3, the Moroccan Foreign Minister Taieb Fassi-Fihri, accused, in the presence of its counterpart Trinidad Jimenez, the Spanish press of excesses and of "confusing its wishes with reality."

This wave of xenophobia championed by the elite press in Spain demonstrates the immaturity of the Spanish democratic model, the prevalence of the neo-fascism ideology in society and the ubiquity of Spanish historical prejudices, particularly against what they call  "moros".
This state of affairs will come in the way of a peaceful resolution to the Western Sahara conflict, as well as the process of decolonization of the last remaining colonies in Africa, the two Spanish occupied cities in Northern Morocco, Ceuta and Melilla.
