From Lattakia Coordination Committee: Thanks to residents of Homs
by لجان التنسيق المحلية في سوريا on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 5:13pm

The regime betted on killing, repression and slandering to stay in power, but Syria betted on your history of fraternity and co-existence.

You won the bet, and we won it with you.

All people of Homs refused to be dragged into sectarian fight trap, they provided a bright example of the united Syrian people in the past, present and future. You let them drown in the shifting sands of their plots.

Thank you Homs. Thank you all people of Homs.

You stopped their filthy plots and we all went half the way to reach the united free Syria.

We in Lattakia and all of Syria will commit to the oath of preserving our fraternity and co-existence in the special social mosaic of our people in Syria.

We reaffirm, as Homs did, to stick to our peaceful nature of our revolution to gain freedom, dignity and democracy

Long live Syria, Glory to the martyrs
