Aleppo: Heavy Gunfire at Protesters in the Sukari District
11 months into the revolution, and the number of demonstration points is on the rise
The number of documented demonstrations that set out this Friday according to the Local Coordination Committees in Syria has reached 613 demonstrations, most of which occurred in Idlib, which witnessed 158 demonstrations, followed by Aleppo with 89 demonstrations, then by Hama with 87 demonstrations. In Homs, 57 demonstrations set out, in Daraa 54. The capital, Damascus, was home to 49 demonstrations, while Damascus Suburbs had 40 demonstrations for a second consecutive week. Lattakia had 28 demonstrations, Hasakeh 21, a significant increased compared to last week's demonstrations. 7 demonstrations were confirmed in Tartous and 2 in Raqqa.
With regards to the number of demonstration points: the total number all over Syria today was 540. Idlib had the largest part this time as well as the province witnessed demonstrations in 154 point; followed by Aleppo for the second week, which had 83 points and the third was for Hama with 82 points. In Daraa, similar to last week's, demonstrations took place in 50 points, and Homs had 41 points. Demonstrations took place in 39 different points of Damascus Suburbs, and in 37 points of the capital, the city of Damascus; followed last by Deir Ezzor with 20 points.

Hama: Kafr Zeta: Intense and indiscriminate gunfire from most of the security checkpoints in the town at this moment.
Aleppo: Atareb: Mr. Fayez Ghazy (Abzamo Village) was martyred due to sustained injuries by security forces three days ago. He was shot along with his daughter while working as a taxi-driver when the regime’s army stormed the town and fired randomly. His daughter is receiving medical treatment in a hospital. Mr. Ghazy’s death brings the number of martyrs in the Atareb massacre to ten.
Daraa: Busr Al-Harir: Security and military forces besiege the town that is witnessing electrical cut-off while intense fire from heavy weaponry is heard all over the town.
Idlib: Jabal Al-Zawiya: Aaref Jamal Al-Asi, mute young man, and dozens were injured by security forces who raided the Ma'arata town amid sporadic intense shooting.
Damascus: Mashroo' Dummar: Revolution activists raised the Independence Flag of Syria on the town's council in the Third Island this evening, and they wrote the word "Freedom" under the window of the council's building.
Deir Ezzor: Mayadeen: An evening demonstration started despite of widespread of security forces and regime's army.
Raqqa: A demonstration started in Sha'aib neighborhood; participants chanted for Baba Amr, Homs, and the disaster-stricken cities.
Damascus Suburbs: Douma: Security forces fired at evening demonstrations from three mosques. The demonstrations began after security forces left to the outskirts of the city after two martyrs and lots of wounded.
Deir Ezzor: Qouria: Many civilians are wounded including a woman injured by a shrapnel to the head by security forces firing randomly at security checkpoints around the city. Several explosions shake the town
Aleppo: An evening demonstration started from Masakken Hanano; participants chanted for the trial of all murders and demanded the release of detainees

Deir Ezzor: Bokamal: Many civilians are wounded due to security forces' bullets fired at Freedom Square located in the city’s center. Despite the gunfire, the townspeople continue to chant "God is the Greatest".
Damascus: An evening demonstration started from the Liberty Square in Barzeh neighborhood after Isha (evening) prayer. Protesters were roaming the streets in the old part of the city and chanting for Mazzah neighborhood, the martyrs and calling for delivering the corpses to their relatives.

Daraa: Jiza: Military reinforcements surrounded the town from the south and the east, and other reinforcements arrived at the northern checkpoint. There is a third group of reinforcements in the Saida Residential Project.
Daraa: Tafas: Explosions and gunfire from heavy weapons were heard after the regime's army authorities raided the town this morning using tanks. There are reports of multiple wounded.
Damascus: Hasan Hijazi, 11, was martyred in Mazzeh, Zayat District, as a result of critical wounds he sustained to the head.
Daraa: Tafas: Regime forces have surrounded the northern district using tanks and gunfire has resumed in the area.
Idlib: Regime authorities have cut off all communications and Internet services in the city, Jabal Zawiyeh, Ariha, Kafar Nabal, Maaret Nouman, and the southern and eastern countryside. Authorities are also jamming communications equipment to prevent the release of any videos or news.
Damascus: Heavy security presence in Barzeh neighborhood. Buses filled with security forces and cars loaded with armed shabiha along with police cars are erecting a security checkpoint in front of Bashar's Shop.
Daraa: Jassim: The martyrdom of Mohammed Faisal Hourani, 63 years old, from Kafrshams with a bullet in head by the security forces at Abu Tammam roundabout and his body is in the National Hospital freezer.
Baniyas: A demonstration began at Raaes Alnabee in Beit Hamdo Square as security forces stormed the neighborhood and waged an arrests campaign, among the known detainees are Bashar Jarkas and Mohammad Shughri.
Damascus: A demonstration began in Naher Ayesha in Midan despite an intense security siege of the neighborhood; demonstrators chanted in solidarity with Mazzeh neighborhood Homs and Daraa.
Deir Ezzor: Qooriya: Shabiha and Security forces dig up graves that are located near Iman Mosque with the protection of three tanks, residents are unsure of their motives.
Damascus Suburbs: Jadeeda Artouz: Security forces martyred Amer Ali Mohammad, a young man displaced from the occupired Golan Height, when they opened fire on a demonstration in Jadeeda Artouz-Fadel.
Idlib: Masssive demonstations in the city today began at all the city mosques and chanted for Homs and the detainees. The demonstrations came together at Sa'aa (Clock) Square in the market area. It should be mentioned that the internet and cellular phone lines remain disconnected from the city for over two weeks now.
Homs: Renewal of intense shelling on Baba Amr neighborhood.
Deir Ezzor : Bokamal : the regime's army is invading the Kitf neighbourhood with the BMP vehicles. There is a dense and random shooting at homes and in the streets.
Aleppo: Azaz: For the first time ever a demonstration began in the village of Zayzafoun (Ikda) and demonstrators called for the regime's ouster and the punishment of its representatives.
Deir Ezzor: Bokamal: Muhsen Ali Al-Nazzal was martyred in an ambsuh set by security members in the Maary St this morning.
Damascus Suburbs : Daraya : security forces are invading homes in the Khaleej area on the Korniche Al-Jadeed, they are enforced with military backup that includes an armoured vehicle and a tank and a car carrying a machine-gun.
Daraa : the regime's army is surrounding the Musaiferah and Aljeezah towns with 37 tanks and a large number of soldiers and Shabiha (armed thugs).
Daraa: Ibtaa: The regime's army raided the town with tanks and the Free Syrian Army is defending the city. Clashes which were described as the most violent of all are now taking place in Ibtaa.
Damascus Suburbs : Saqba : security forces are shooting heavily in Al-Raya square, and new armoured vehicles and security and thugs bus enforcements are arriving to town.
Homs: Talbesih: A massive demonstration started after Jumaa (Friday) prayer in the town; protesters chanted for Homs, Baba Amr, toppling the regime and its illegitimate new constitution.
Deir Ezzor : a demonstration in the Jubaileh neighbourhood in solidarity with Al-Joura neighbourhood. Security forces are shooting randomly to disperse demonstrators.
Hama: Alaa Abed al-Karim Dakhel Allah, Ahmed Jalab Diab, and Ahmed Shalish were all martyrd by security forces' bullets.
Damascus: Mahmoud Karam was martyred in al-Mazze due to security forces' bullets fired at a massive demonstration. The town's martyrs have risen to 5 today.
Damascus Suburbs : Douma : Saleem Tomeh and Imad Khiti were martyred by the bullets of security forces.
Daraa: Tafis: Several people fell injured in the town and families were prevented from reaching them due to indiscriminate shelling from tanks.
Aleppo : young man Abdo Baradey was martyred and more than 7 others were injured in Alfardos neighbourhood, some in critical condition, after security forces opened fire on a demonstration that started there.
Daraa: Jassem: Security forces homes and arrested dozens of civilians near the security checkpoint where the 12 soldiers defected and were executed on site.
Idlib: Jabal Zawiya: Mohammed Khaled, Mohammed Hussien, and Mohammed Moustafa were martyred by security forces' bullets in Rouje Village.
Damascus suburbs: Douma: Security forces and Shabiha are attacking the demonstration of western Baghdady and shooting at demonstrators, and launching an arrest campaign.
Daraa: Harra: Mohammad Al-Qawaret, and Abdullah Al-Qawaret (deaf) were martyred by security forces' bullets in the town, raising the numbers of the town's martyrs today to three martyrs.

Daraa: Jasem: Security forces prosecuted 12 defected soldiers in a military court at a town checkpoint which falls in front of Amal Hospital.
Daraa: Hara: Maamoon Aaqla,28, was martyred by security forces bullets. He was deliberately targeted by the regime's forces.
Damascus: Mazzeh: A demonstration marched from Al Mustafa mosque, despite the tight siege, the protesters chanted in solidarity with their colleagues in Al Farouq neighborhood. Voices of gunfire still can be heard in the area.
Aleppo: Four people have been injured, one of them crticaly, due to shabiha and security forces' bullets in Mayasar. Security forces randomly and unlawfully detained more than 30 civilians.
Deir Ezzor: Armored vehicles are widespread in the town along with military personnel vehicles since this morning. They are roaming the streets and forces are tampering with Al-Hussien Mosque amid heavy gunfire. One of the neighboring buildings was occupied by the regime’s thugs after raids and arrests of civilians.
Aleppo: Kafernaya: Massive demonstration in solidarity with Atareb town in Aleppo Suburbs and other disaster cities, the protesters called to topple the regime.
