About the assassination of Doctor Farhan Abu Khair
The regime has labeled the revolution as disturbance since it's start, and it is now creating a disturbance in order to abort the revolution and the struggles of our people for moral and human dignity, freedom, and justice. The assassination of the Syrian legal expert and academic, "Fahan Abo AlKher", occuredin the midst of the regime's attempt to prevent the widening of the circles of protests to new social groups and their continuing to plant seeds of discord in society. Us, as the "Local Coordination Committee", hold the regime responsible for the assassination of the martyr "Abo Alkher", incidents of kidnapping innocent civilians, and inciting sectarianism. We warn our Syrian brothers that these practices create a severe challenge to the ethnic fabric of Syria and a poses major challenge to our ability and determination to build a modern country. With that in mind, it is a responsibility upon each and every one of us to avoid falling into the regime's traps of sectarianism; It is our responsibility, as well as our hope and our will, to remove it (sectarianism) from our revolution and our country
