[4 Feb 2012] Umm Walad, #Daraa: Doctor Waseem Muhammad Qteesh was killed when his car came under fire from regime forces. His sister was also killed with him, and some of his family in the car were wounded.
Leaked video shows Al-Assad's soldiers desecrating the body of a martyr from the Free Syrian Army. The soldiers use extremely vulgar language and yell at the martyrs "Bashar Al-Assad is your Lord!!". One of the soldiers says to the camera "A salutation to the whole sect", referring to the Alawite sect.

Homs: The young man Ziyad Abo Salah was martyred in his home in Khaldieh neighborhood in Homs affected with his severe injuries. Ziyad is a volunteer in the Red Crescent Society, Homs branch.
Daraa: Two martyrs and five injured from the same family after their car was shelled by security forces with Shelka (anti-aircraft) on Musayfira-Kark road. This resulted in martyrdom of Waseem Abdul Lateef (a dentist and a post-graduate student in Damascus University) and his sister Reem Abul Lateef. Also, a man, a woman and three children were injured and they are in critical conditions.

Damascus Suburbs: Violent shelling from all directions at Zabadani and Madaya with support of military choppers which are being used for the first time in Zabadani. Several fires started in areas of both cities and smoke columns are rising from some homes. Tanks stationed in the Eastern Mountain are shelling the area with nail-bombs that resulted in damaging the water tanks. Military reinforcements are still arriving via Tikeya road as more than 100 wagons were seen heading to Zabadani.
Homs: Rastan: Violent artillery shelling at the city's neighborhoods as a result of the Free Syrian Army control over all the city's checkpoints. The regime's army is assembling the forces at the city's vicinty and the residents fear from being raided again.

Homs: Hawla: Abdullah Theyab and his son Majd were martyred today. They were taking care of their cattle, when the regime's thugs (Shabeha) targeted them and the entire herd os sheep.
Aleppo: Manbej: a demonstration in the town in solidarity with Homs and the other stricken cities.
Homs: Rastan: Several martyrs and more than 15 injured including 2 children and a young man in a critical condition were reported after the regime's army shelling of the city and shooting by snipers. The martyrs we know are: Mohammad Saleh Al-Deik, Basel Ahmad Ferzat, Mohammad Ayoub Ayoub, Hani Samy Antar and Amen Mansour.

Damascus Suburbs: Douma: using tanks and armored vehicles, Shabbiha and security forces agents have stormed several areas of the town earlier today, including Jisr Al-Mal'ab (Stadium Bridge), Al-Rihan and Al-Ash'ari.

Heavy security presence fills the streets around Freedom square amid intense gunfire at anything that moves. A mandatory curfew has been imposed on the town. All efforts are utilized to terrorize the civilians.
Idlib: Neirab: the regime forces have stormed the town amid intense gunfire, indiscriminate shelling at residential buildings and purposeful destruction of storefronts. In response, the Free Syrian Army clashed with the storming forces, which resulted in the death of several Shabbiha and security forces agents and the explosion of a Zil-type military vehicle.
Damascus Suburbs: Douma: thousands of demonstrators are participating in the funeral procession of martyr Mahrous Deeb Al-Zain despite the town blockade imposed by the army and security forces. Land communications have been cut off since 10 days ago.
Damascus Suburbs: A massive military convoy including at least 50 tanks, 25 artillery vehicles, 10th Division Brigade troops, and troops from the 81st Brigade. They are roaming around the towns of Zabadani and Madaya from all four axes preparing to launch a raid amid a power outage and a complete communications cut-off. It’s important to note, that the Zabadani was attacked by the regime’s forces using nail-bombs which resulted in several injuries yesterday. The city is under siege and suffering a worsening humanitarian crisis due to a complete blockade, ongoing into its fourth day, where food and medical supplies are not permitted to enter the town. Townspeople are afraid of another massacre while the press is focused on other issues.

Deir Ezzor: Quria: The regime’s Army backed with at least 17 tanks, Zil cars, and fully armed soldiers stormed the city this morning amid heavy and arbitrary gunfire aimed towards the homes. They launched raids and destroyed houses while arresting several people, including Hammed Ibrahim Ismail Alyoun.

Identified of today's martyrs are: Mohammad Jadyan, Ahmad Abu Fahd Wahbeh, Mojahed Kholany, Mostafa Waleed Al-Najar, Ahmad Al-Derany, Moomen Qaretam, Majed Shehada, Yaman Al-Ahmar, Basem Kesah, Ahmad Al-Mashesh and his son Hamzeh, and a young man from Khan Sheikhon in Idlib.

Swayda: After the townspeople attempted to amass to demonstrate for Homs's victory security forces deployed in the Maleh Village for the first time.

Machine-guns and RPGs were put in the sewage system and fabricated by the Syrian State Television as weapons of the armored mobs in Syria.

Despite the fact that the entire world has taken a stand against the criminal Syrian regime, and despite all the condemnations of its heinous crimes committed against civilians, the regime has not stopped and does not consider its actions for even a second. The regime does not consider the deep hole into which they are dragging the Syrian people and the country.
While the regime has been trying to polish its world image in recent times, the idiocy of its actions has united Syrians in their stand against it, thus eliminating any hope for a partial solution or dialogue. The massacres continue, and the way to stop them is very clear: to oust the regime.
To our great people, let us continue our march against the regime, and protest tonight all over the country in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Homs, who are being shelled now, by and ease the pressure on them. Let us conduct sit-ins in front of all the regime’s embassies and consulates in capitals across the world. We are united in the face of this regime and all who have supported it thus far.
We also appeal to all our people in Homs and the surrounding areas to support the people of Khaldiyeh and Bayada by either donating blood or housing families fleeing the bombing.
Finally, we call upon our brothers in the Free Syrian Army to successfully protect our people in Homs and Zabadany, as well as all the other cities that are suffering from the regime’s army and shabiha.
