Ar-Ramadi.

Death toll of US Marines expected to top 50 after five Resistance car bombs rock ar-Ramadi Tuesday.

First bomb reportedly kills five US troops in a Humvee . . .

The first report of a Resistance car bomb attack on US forces in ar-Ramadi on Tuesday came in in a dispatch posted at 12:45pm Mecca time Tuesday. Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short while before, an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom bomber had driven an explosives-packed car into a US military column on the main road near the provincial government offices in the city of ar-Ramadi 110Km west of Baghdad.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in ar-Ramadi reported witnesses as saying that the Resistance fighter surprised the American column when he burst out of a side street into the US troops, blowing himself and his car up amidst them.

The blast destroyed one Humvee, killing its five-man crew, the correspondent reported.

Second massive car bomb reportedly kills 20 US troops in ar-Ramadi. . .

Then in a dispatch posted at 1:05pm Mecca time Tuesday, Mafkarat al-Islam reported witnesses in ar-Ramadi as saying that a short while earlier, an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom bomber drove an explosives-laden car into a house that US troops were using as a local headquarters near the industrial zone in the eastern part of the city, 110km west of Baghdad.

Home owners neighboring the scene of the attack told the ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that a Resistance fighter in a big car got past the protective concrete barricades that the Americans had put up around the house and blew up in the courtyard. The powerful blast brought down the entire house, flattening it to the ground, the witnesses said, and destroying three Humvees. More than 20 US troops who were in the house at the time, among them five US snipers, were killed, the neighbors said.

The correspondent reported that the explosion was so powerful that houses more than 400 meters away from the blast suffered damage.

Third bomb, in a truck, rips through US troops in ar-Ramadi Tuesday afternoon.

In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, the ar-Ramadi correspondent reported that a third Iraqi Resistance martyrdom vehicle bomb had exploded amidst a crowd of US soldiers who were evacuating dead and wounded from the second car bombing that took place a little while earlier when a Resistance fighter rammed into a house used by US forces as a local headquarters.

Witnesses of neighboring houses reported that a martyrdom fighter drove a big tank truck out of a house adjacent to the US headquarters which had already been struck by a bomber a few minutes earlier. The tanktruck bomber blasted into the American troops and vehicles gathered at the scene where they were recovering bodies and injured soldiers from the house.

The witnesses said that the tank truck bomber destroyed two US Humvees and wounded or killed some 25 more American troops.

Fourth Resistance car bomber blasts US troops. . .

In a dispatch posted at 2:05pm Mecca time, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that a short while before a fourth Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter attacked a US column on the main road near the al-Haqq Mosque near the eastern entrance to ar-Ramadi.

Witnesses said that the Resistance fighter drove hic Caprice car into a column of US troops that was on its way to join the Americans near the place where two other vehicle bombs blasted a US headquarters not long before. The car bomber blasted into the front of the American column, destroying two Humvees and killing five US troops and wounding three more.

Fifth Resistance bomb slams US column in western part of the city late Tuesday afternoon. . .

In a dispatch posted at 6:45pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, the ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a spokesman for the Iraqi puppet army as saying that about an hour before (i.e., at about 6:30pm local time) a fifth Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded by a US military column by the glass and ceramics works in the west of the city.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Captain Husayn 'Abd al-A’immah a spokesman for the Iraqi puppet army in ar-Ramadi as saying that the fifth Iraqi Resistance car bomb destroyed a US troop carrier, killing those aboard it.

Regarding the total number of US troops killed in the day’s five car bombings in the city, the spokesman told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent: "I fear that the number of Marines killed just today will exceed more than 50 because of how serious the wounds of the injured are."

In its news broadcast shortly before the correspondent filed his report, the American occupation propaganda radio station "al-Hurriyah" in the city announced that the US command had issued a general high for US forces alert and a state of alert in the city.

Meanwhile, US aircraft imposed a heavy air cover over the city, while Resistance fighters imposed a "cover" of their own on the ground in the city, according to Mafkarat al-Islam’s correspondent. There was no indication that US forces were themselves present on the ground within the city of ar-Ramadi.

Al-Hadithah.

Resistance roadside bomb blasts US patrol in al-Hadithah midday Tuesday.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded on the main road near the ash-Shaykh Hadid area in the west of the city of al-Hadithah at 1pm local time Tuesday afternoon.

Residents of ash-Shaykh Hadid told the al-Hadithah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that was planted by the side of the main road in their area blew up as a patrol of several US Humvees passed by. The blast set fire to one of the vehicles, killing two soldiers and wounding a third.

Al-Fallujah.

Resistance bomb blasts US patrol south in 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah.

In a dispatch posted at 11:30am Mecca time Tuesday morning, the correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in al-Fallujah reported that a short while before, an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US military patrol in the area of 'Amiriyat al-Fallujah, which lies south of the city of al-Fallujah, 50km west of Baghdad.

Witnesses who were near the scene of the blast told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that two Resistance fighters planted the bomb by the side of the road leading to the al-Jaffah blew up as the US patrol passed by, seriously damaging a Humvee and killing one US soldier and wounding three more.

The correspondent observed a number of US vehicles on the scene encircling the entire area. They extracted one body and the three wounded men and evacuated them from the scene in an armored Humvee.

Al-Habbaniyah.

Resistance rockets southern gates of al-Hadbah military airstrip.

In a bulletin posted at 10:15am Tuesday morning Mecca time, the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in al-Habbaniyah, west of al-Fallujah, reported that a short while before Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked the southern gate to the al-Hadbah military airbase that is now a US-occupied military headquarters.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the Iraqi puppet army as saying that two Katyusha rockets blasted into the southern gates of the al-Hadbah airfield destroying the gat and killing or wounding more than 10 US soldiers.

Clouds of white and black smoke rose over the gate, which was a line of defense of the US forces where they had exploited the high ground on which it was located and its strong fortification to foil previous Resistance attacks.

Hit.

US troops find, blow up car bomb.

In a dispatch posted at 5:35pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a short time earlier US forces had been able to detonate a car bomb that was parked by the side of a road in Hit awaiting US columns.

The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that one US column that was patrolling the city noticed a white Daewoo car far in the distance and blew it up.

The correspondent reported a source in the Iraqi puppet army as saying that the car was packed with more than 100kg of high-explosive TNT.

At the time of reporting the road was still closed to traffic, one hour after the car bomb was detonated.

Baghdad.

Resistance bombards US-Iraqi puppet army camp in Sab' al-Bur Tuesday morning.

Iraqi Resistance fighters fired five 62mm mortar rounds into the joint US-Iraqi puppet army camp located in the Sab' al-Bur north of Baghdad at 9am local time Tuesday morning.

Witnesses in the village told the Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that the attack set fires and destroyed parts of the camp.

Six US troops reported killed in car bomb attack southwest of Baghdad.

An Iraqi Resistance martyrdom fighter drove an explosives-laden car into a column of US occupation troops to the west of the ash-Shurtah al-Khamisah area to the southwest of Baghdad.

In a dispatch posted at 9:10am Mecca time Tuesday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam reported residents of the al-Kartal village as saying that a Resistance fighter drove an explosives-packed Opel car into a column of several US Humvees on the main farm road in their village and blew himself up. The blast destroyed two Humvees, the witnesses reported, and disabled a third. Six US troops were killed and three others wounded in the explosion.

The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam in Baghdad obtained a copy of the draft "constitution" that was decreed by the US-installed Iraqi "parliament" late on Monday night and then distributed to numerous journalists in the headquarters of the US occupation and the puppet regime in the Republican Palace – known to the occupation forces as the "green zone."

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that the draft "constitution" is being opposed by Iraq’s Sunnis and also by the followers of Muqtada as-Sadr, but this opposition has been totally disregarded by the Americans and their Iraqi appointees who haggled over and drew up the document.

Strong opposition to the document is coming from the Sunni population and the followers of Muqtada as-Sadr, who represent more than 60 percent of Iraq’s Shi'ah, as well as from the secular blocs within the camp sponsored by the US, including the Iyyad 'Allawi bloc and the followers of the pro-American Iraqi Communist Party, with objections centering on the issue of federalism which they regard as nothing but short hand for partition of Iraq along ethnic lines. Other divisive issues include the role of religion in the state.

The Arabic text of the draft "constitution" drawn up by the American occupiers and their followers is available at: http://www.islammemo.cc/news/mithaq.html

Salah ad-Din Province.

Samarra’.

Resistance roadside bomb blasts US patrol in Samarra’ early Tuesday afternoon.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the al-Mu'tasim neighborhood of Samarra’ 120km north of Baghdad at 2pm local time Tuesday afternoon.

Residents of al-Mu'tasim told the Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that was planted by the side of the road leading to the big market blew up as a patrol of four US Humvees passed by.

The blast destroyed one of the Humvees, killing two US troops and wounding three more, the witnesses reported.

Balad.

Bodies of 10 puppet Wolf Brigade members found.

The Iraqi puppet army discovered 10 bodies of members of the puppet Wolf Brigades in the area of Balad, some 70km north of Baghdad on Tuesday.

The Balad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi puppet army troops found the bodies of 10 men who had been executied. The men had been abducted northeast of the city several days earlier when they were out on a patrol in three Nissan vehicles. The vehicles and the men disappeared at the same time and it is assumed that the Resistance also seized them.

The correspondent reported a source in the Iraqi puppet army who asked not to be identified as saying that one of the 10 was killed by having his throat slit, but the other nine were shot in the head. Three of the dead were officers.

For its part the Resistance organization named the Salafi Abu 'Ubaydah al-Jarrah group announced that it was responsible for the abduction and execution in a communiqué posted on mosques in the city.

The Wolf Brigade was formed by the occupation regime and includes many members of the Badr Brigade Shi'i sectarian militia in its ranks. The Badr Brigades are widely blamed for sectarian killings of Sunnis in various parts of Iraq.

Ad-Dawr.

Thousands march against US-backed draft "constitution" including members of puppet military forces and the US-appointed district governor.

In a first reaction to the draft Iraqi "constitution" drawn up by clients of the American occupation, about two thousand Iraqis took to the streets to denounce the document in the town of ad-Dawr in Salah ad-Din Province northwest of Baghdad.

Demonstrators marched through the main street of the city shouting "Down with the constitution written by the hands of the Zionists!", "With our souls and blood we will ransom you, Saddam!", and "With our souls and blood we will ransom you 'Izzat!" (in reference to Iraqi Vice-President 'Izzat Ibrahim ad-Duri, a native of the town whom the Americans have never captured.

The protestors chanted their loyalty to the Arab Baath Socialist Party as a force uniting all Iraqis regardless of sect or ethnicity.

Particularly significant was the fact that among the protestors were men serving in the puppet police force, the puppet "National Guard," and government employees – all of whom were led by the governor of the ad-Dawrah district, 'Uthman 'Abd al-Karim.

The protestors demanded an end to what they called "plans to partition Iraq" that are presented as a plan for "federalism." Marchers expressed their determination to oppose any plan aimed at tearing Iraq out of the Arab nation or splitting up the country.

Diyala Province.

Ba'qubah.

Three US troops reported killed as Resistance fighter wearing explosive belt blasts puppet police headquarters in Ba'qubah.

In a dispatch posted at 7pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom bomber wearing an explosive belt blew himself up insid the building housing the offices of the puppet police department for fighting major crimes in the center of Ba'qubah, northeast of Baghdad.

Witnesses told the Ba'qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that a Resistance fighter wearing an explosive belt got past the security barriers and the checkpoint outside the puppet police building where there were more than 20 US troops and a number of American Humvees in addition to Iraqi puppet policemen.

A source in the Iraqi puppet police told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that the explosion killed three US troops and wounded two more American soldiers. The blast also killed seven Iraqi puppet policemen and wounded three more of them, the source said.

A correspondent for Quds Press reported sources in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that the explosion "inflicted large numbers of dead and wounded in the ranks of the Americans," but he said the sources declined to give exact numbers.

Quds Press reported that the blast was so powerful that it caused part of the building to collapse and that search and rescue efforts went into action after the explosion.

After the attack, Mafkarat al-Islam reported, US troops backed by puppet police encircled the area and prevented residents and journalists from approaching the area. US reinforcements arrived on the scene in about eight Humvees to evacuate the casualties.

The correspondent for Quds Press noted that the death toll among Iraqi puppet police, which he put at five dead and 15 others wounded, increased when US reinforcements arrived on the scene and opened fire on their police allies as they were hurrying to the area to help recover the bodies. The US "friendly fire" killed three Iraqi puppet policemen, and wounded another four, Quds Press reported.

An American helicopter landed in the area to transport dead and wounded Americans to the nearby American base set up in the city airport northwest of Ba'qubah, Quds Press reported.

Local residents told Mafkarat al-Islam that the Resistance organization Base Qa'idah of the Jihad in the land of the Two Rivers declared its responsibility for the attack in a communiqué distributed among local mosques.

At-Ta’mim Province.

Al-Hawijah.

Roadside Resistance bomb blasts US column on road to Kirkuk.

An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the area of al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk in northern Iraq, according to a report posted by Mafkarat al-Islam at 9:25am Mecca time Tuesday morning.

The Kirkuk correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the traffic police in the city who was near the area where the explosion occurred, said that a Resistance bomb that was planted by the side of the main road leading to downtown Kirkuk blew up as a patrol of several US Humvees passed by. The explosion set one of the vehicles ablaze, killing two US troops and wounding two more American soldiers.

US soldier reported killed in roadside bombing Tuesday afternoon.

Resistance fighters ambush US patrol in Mosul early Tuesday.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US patrol in the al-Islah az-Zira'i neighborhood of Mosul in northern Iraq according to a dispatch posted by Mafkarat al-Islam at 9:40am Mecca time Tuesday morning.

Residents of al-Islah az-Zira'i told the Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam that Resistance fighters armed with light and medium weapons including PKS machine guns unleashed a hail of gunfire at a US patrol. The attack killed one American soldier and wounded four more, one of them seriously.

The witnesses reported that the Resistance fighters were able to leave the area of the engagement without suffering any casualties.

Al-Basrah Province.

Camp Bucca.

Garbage man helps five prisoners escape Camp Bucca Monday night.

Unusual US and British troop movements were observed in the city of al-Basrah on Tuesday morning as the soldiers encircled a section of the city and launched a wave of arrests in the ash-Shalamijah area to the east of the city.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the city reported a source in the puppet "Iraqi rapid deployment force" as saying that the reason for the raids and arrests was that five Iraqi prisoners in nearby Camp Bucca in Umm Qasr had escaped on Monday night with the help of a trash man working with the prisoners. The worker took the five prisoners out of the prison in his garbage truck, the source said.

The prisoners escaped in the garbage truck when a Resistance rocket attack struck Camp Bucca, distracting the guard at the gate who neglected to search the garbage trucks that were leaving the camp, something that is normally done with each truck.

The searches in the city involved a raid on the home of the garbage worker who helped the prisoners to escape. The house is located in the middle of al-Basrah, but the worker was not there when his home was raided.

The correspondent wrote that the raids were still in progress when he filed his report, posted at 10:45am Mecca time Tuesday morning, as US forces continued to search for the escaped prisoners and the garbage man. At that time no official statement on the escape had been issued by the US or Iraqi puppet military.
