TEL AVIV, Israel -- Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman says he will aggressively pursue a right-wing agenda and consider dissolving parliament if other coalition parties fail to back the initiatives, Channel 10 reported Wednesday night.

Speaking at a closed conference of his party, Yisrael Beiteinu, Lieberman was said to have told members that he intended to "go all the way" on issues like the military conversion bill, which would expand the definition of Jewish for those wishing to serve in the military.

"This needs to be brought to resolution ... it could be that this resolution will have a serious price," the channel quoted him as saying, and he threatened that if the bill did not pass the second and third readings, the party could quit and dissolve the coalition.

"We can’t go to elections without us honoring the promises we gave," he said.

The right-wing official also said he felt stuck in the current coalition alongside the Shas and Likud parties, naming March as the month when these issues could "come to a head."
