August 15, 2012 - The Local Coordination Committees in Syria were able to document 205 martyrs today, among them children and women. 90 martyrs were reported in Aleppo (most in Izzaz), 42 in Damascus and its Suburbs (including 6 who were executed in Douma, 6 in Qaboun neighborhood and 11 who were executed in Razi Orchids), 26 martyrs in Idlib, 29 in Homs (among them 6 martyrs from one family in Deir Baalbeh neighborhood), 7 in Daraa, 8 in Deir Ezzor, 2 in Hama and 1 in Quneitra... Hama: Latamneh: Renewed heavy artillery shelling of the city from the regime forces' checkpoint located south of the city is reported.
Damascus Suburbs: Yilda: A huge explosion shook the city after a mortar shell landed on one of the power posts.

Homs: Abdo Abdul Rahim Al-Hamad, Lamia Sobhi Haj Hamad, Mohamad Abdo Al-Hamad, Reem Sobhi Haj Hamad and Fadi Abdo Al-Hamid were all martyred due to the shelling of Deir Baalba neighborood.
Damascus Suburbs: Dmair: Heavy shelling by rockets from warplanes is reported in the western neighborhood which led to huge damages in many buildings.
Deir Ezzor: Bokamal: Regime's forces renew their heavy artillery shelling of the city, it is reported that 5 shells were fired at the city so far.

Aleppo: Ba'edeen: Local residents in large numbers are fleeing after the regime's heavy shelling in the area.
Homs: Rastan: Saddam Al-Ashtar, a member of the Free Syrian Army, was martyred by regime forces' gunfire.
Damascus: Qadam: An entire family was martyred due to shelling. The family consists of the father, Ahmad Moussa Al-Balkhi; the mother, Rajab Abdel Rahman Al-Balkhi; and Malak Ahmad Al-Balkhi, a female child.
Homs: Ter Maaleh: Regime forces are intensely shelling the village and its farms with artillery.
Damascus: Qadam: Mahmoud Al-Furati, a child, was martyred during the regime's shelling in the area.

Idlib: Maaret Al-Nouman: Abdelmajeed Muhammad Jamil Al-Rahmoun, 13, was martyred when he was shot by a sniper positioned at a checkpoint.
Damascus Suburbs: Zabadany: Intense mortar and rocket shelling of the city is reported.
Aleppo: Izaz: Tens of martyrs are under rubble due to the intense shelling of the city by warplanes.

Damascus Suburbs: Nabek: Dr. Ayham Sayed Ahmed was martyred when regime forces fired at him.
Homs: Aghannto: Three people were martyred and others suffered serious injuries, some of them are in extremely critical condition due to the rocket and mortar fire from the Military Academy and the Mashreqa and Jbourin villages of supervising. The names of the martyr are Abdul Rahman Yasin Harba and Muhannad Mohammed Swais and Munir Ghazi Sipho.
Damascus Suburbs: Adra: Six diplaced people from Douma were martyred, 4 of them were identified, Abu Maher Qaqish, Abu Mahrous Shaikh Quair, Abu Majid Arbash, Abu Rateb Nams, they were kidnapped yesterday from the city of Adra and their bodies were thrown near Rahma Gas Station, and the families of the martyr are unable to recover the bodies because of snipers.
Aleppo: Abazmo: Regime shelling by the 46th Birgade has been ongoing since this morning.
Damascus: Barzeh: Helicopter gunships are shelling Barzeh orchards amid wide spread use of regime tanks and anti-aircraft missiles on the road to Tishreen National Hospital.

Daraa: Tafas is declared as disaster-stricken city following 4 days of continuous shelling by regime forces. The attack lead to more than 30 martyrs, the destruction and theft of 10s of homes. The regime forces are still looting properties and destroying the city.

Daraa: Busra Al-Sham: Hamed Nasser Al-Shoukh was martyred after being shot and slaughtered with knives.
Quneitra: Jabata Al-Khashab: Large deployment of regime security accompanied by a tank and military vehicles. Residents fear invasion of the town.
Idlib: Saraqeb: Samira Al-Telawi, Fatim Qassem Al-Ezzo, Adra Sheikh Ahmad, Ayoush Bakeer, and Ahmad Yasser Shahoud (a child), were martyred due to intense shelling of the city with high-caliber artillery and mortars.
Daraa: Yadouda: Intense shelling of the town is reported.
Idlib: Areeha: 5 people, Bakri Khalid Badawi, Hamza Khalid Badawi, Alaa Nazem Badawi, Khalid Naji Badawi, and Ahmad Bahaa Saado were martyred, and tens were injured due to shelling of the Grand mosque of the city during the Taraweeh prayer.
Idlib: Kalali: 9 members of the Free Syrian Army were martyred. They are: Omar Ahmad Mustafa, Rabea Ahmad Shlar, Ali Saeed Abilo, Ismail Talleb, Muhammad Hamza Al-Bash, Amer Haboush, Ali Jawad, Anas Ahmad Baradei, and Muhammad Ibn Abbo Al-Hamziyeh. A large number of people were injured during the fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime's army, which was on its way to Bab Al-Hawa on the Syrian-Turkish borders.
