June 10, 2013 - By the end of Monday, the coordination committees were able to document 90 martyrs in Syria, among them 13 women, 8 martyrs under torture, and 4 children: 25 martyrs were reported in Damascus and its suburbs; 18 in Aleppo; 14 in Homs; 12 in Deir Ezzor; 10 in Raqqa; 3 in Idlib; 3 in Hama; 2 in Daraa; 1 in Lattakia; 1 in Quneitra; and 1 in Hasakeh. Moreover, the committees have documented 401 points of shelling: Air strikes by warplanes were recorded in 36 points, explosive barrels have shelled Raqqa city and the perimeter of Division 17 in Raqqa, surface-to-surface missiles have shelled Zamalka in Damascus Suburbs, while artillery shelling was recorded in 131 points, rocket shelling in 123 points, and mortar shelling in 108 points in different areas across Syria...

Qaboun, Damascus: One more infant victim of Assad's war on Syria. These are the last moments of five-year-old Zeina Kammashe, who sustained fatal shrapnel wounds to her head in indiscriminate regime heavy artillery and mortar bombardment of the Qaboun neighbourhood of Damascus on Monday June 10th, 2013. Despite doctors' desperate efforts to save the little girl, her injuries were too severe for her to survive.
This little girl joins the thousands of other children killed by Assad forces, while the mother joins the thousands of other Syrian parents crying beside a little body. Footage filmed in Alqaboon on June 10, 2013.

A massacre committed as the civilians tried to flee from Al Qusair city . The civilians carried the wounded for more than 20 kilometers in a forest surrounded by regime forces and their allies, Hezbollah . The civilians called on humanitarian organizations to assist them, but in vain.
Ancient sites are among the dozens of types of damage which can be added to the Assad regime's checklist. Moreover, the committees have documented 401 points of shelling: Air strikes by warplanes were recorded in 36 points, explosive barrels have shelled Raqqa city and the perimeter of Division 17 in Raqqa, surface-to-surface missiles have shelled Zamalka in Damascus Suburbs, while artillery shelling was recorded in 131 points, rocket shelling in 123 points, and mortar shelling in 108 points in different areas across Syria.
The FSA has clashed with regime forces in 142 points, through which in Aleppo, it took control over several areas inside Menegh Military Airport, and took over the Radar Building, the Airport's Tank Park, the Water Tower, and the Central Building and have destroyed several armored vehicles inside the airport, in Maaret Artiq it targeted Shweihne Mountain with several shells and killed a big number of regime forces and Lebanese Hezbullah members. In Hama, the FSA has destroyed 5 checkpoints in Saat village after storming it and killed and captured several members of regime forces, and repelled a military convoy at Masoud and Masaade road and forced regime forces to retreat to Thour village. In Idlib, the FSA has targeted a military convoy heading toward Idlib city from Mhambel and destroyed several regime forces vehicles. In Deir Ezzor, the FSA has killed several members among regime forces in clashes in Rasafe neighborhood. In Damascus Suburbs, the FSA has downed 2 reconnaissance aircrafts in the Eastern Ghouta. In Daraa, it repelled several attempts by regime forces to storm the liberated Inkhel city, and has also destroyed several of regime forces' armored vehicles in cites and towns across Syria.

A Statement of Condemnation of the Execution of the Child Mohammad Qattaa
Local Coordination Committees in Syria condemns the heinous crime committed yesterday in the city of Aleppo that claimed the lives of the 14 years old child Mohammed Katta.
We also deplore justifications and rumors repeated by some in order to cover up the ugliness of this crime, which is refused by all religions, ethics and international laws.
While condemning this crime, we call on Judiciary Council and everyone working on securing liberated areas to investigate and reveal the circumstances of this crime and refer the criminal to justice to receive his punishment fair. We also hold the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces full responsibility for failing to manage liberated areas and maintaining the security of its citizens and simply sending statements of condemnation.
A revolution carried out for freedom, dignity and justice and for the salvation of the offender regime and its dictatorship cannot accept any justification for human rights violations under any pretext, and one day, everyone who carried out criminal acts against innocent Syrians will be referred to a court of justice.
