Ramadi, Madain, and the Infamous "Baath-Qaeda" Camp
A boy lies dead in a street in Ramadi, Iraq on Thursday, April 21, 2005. His body was found in a street near three smoldering cars after gunfire erupted in downtown Ramadi 115 kilometers (70 miles) west of Baghdad. The U.S. military had no immediate information on the incident. No "immediate" information! why would they care aslan? it's just a little boy in the middle of nowhere. A little terrorist project in Ramadi. But seriously, why would anyone care who killed the little boy. He's dead, with other tens of thousands, because of the ongoing illegal war. Whether the bullet was shot by a US soldier, or by someone fighting the foreign occupation of his country, both of them didn't mean to kill the boy, but they killed him...

No "immediate" information! why would they care aslan? it's just a little boy in the middle of nowhere. A little terrorist project in Ramadi.
But seriously, why would anyone care who killed the little boy. He's dead, with other tens of thousands, because of the ongoing illegal war. Whether the bullet was shot by a US soldier, or by someone fighting the foreign occupation of his country, both of them didn't mean to kill the boy, but they killed him.
There are tens of thousands of Iraqis who are being killed, and all of them are falling because of the war and occupation. Whether the US military decided to be generous and admit they shot us or not, it's still the responsibilty of occupation forces to maintain a safe life for the occupied populations.
I was telling one of my friends the other day: "We have enough documented cases that can put EVERYONE in the bush adminstration in jail for the next 250,000 years. The thing we need now is to bring the US under the jurisdiction of international laws". Those murderers should be brought to justice one day.
But still, there are some extreme cases that need research. Extreme cases that can start nation wide calshes, as the case of Madain.
The Iraqi "government" led by Talbani and Hakim tried their best last week to start a nation-wide problems and tensions over a fake kiddnapping story in Madain. The Iraqi forces backed by occupation forces stormed the city and found... nothing.
The Iraqi interim "government" that has already lost 3 months without even being able to officially establish itself was doing its best to distract attention away from its failures.
Can anyone believe that the "constitution" should be ready in 3 and half months? can anyone believe that they already lost 50% of the time alloted for drafting the constitution doing nothing?
Anyway, Talbani and Hakim made a big joke out of themselves, not just in Iraq, but worldwide. And it seems that talbani's presidential image was touched, so he went on the national TV and announced that more than 50 dead bodies were found in the river southern to Baghdad, and that he is positive those bodies are of the hostages of Madain. Hakim's racist website announced that the "sunni gangs" killed "shia innocents" in Madain, and they published some pictures of the bodies. I saw the pictures and i wont link to them because they're too graphic, but all of them were of men. Countrary to hakim's announcments, NO women and NO children were in these pictures.
The Iraqi people are still waiting for the important information that the "president" Talbani promised he'll give about the "dozens of dead bodies found in the Tigris". Talbani and Hakim announced through their ruling parties and state media that "the Sunni murderers" would be announced soon. I came across the site of SCIRI (hakim's party) today. It's more extremist and racist than the sites of the Qaida! Hakim is an official copy of the legendary zarqawi! I felt disgusted reading all the anti-Sunni crap there!
I am half sunni and half shia, and I really regret these sick and imposed ideas on the Iraqi culture. Iraqis never had these wierd ideas! The list of missing people that was reported by the SCIRI site contained many Sunni Iraqi names, from famous Sunni tribes.
The horrible security situation that resulted from the US invasion and secretive US detentions of large numbers of people has meant that iraqi families from around the nation have had many loved ones that have gone missing, and having a list of 40 people missing from the city of Madain isnt surprising. Isn't it possible that those Iraqis, sunni and shia, are among other thousands missing nation-wide?
The SCIRI site had some pictures of dead bodies that were found in the Tigris near Suwayrah. And the police report says that some of those bodies are believed to have been dead for over a month.
After a quick look at Iraq's map, I have some questions. How did the bodies of 50 people go all the way in the river through baghdad without anyone noticing them? Aren't Iraqis using boats for moving between the two parts of the city because of the huge traffic jams?
But if this was possible, and the bodies of those men travelled all the way across the capital... here comes the important question:
Can't these bodies be of the fighters that were attacked last month in the so called "Baath-Qaeda" camp < http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_world/view/138980 /1/.html >?
Where are the pictures of children and women? why did the government bury them without identifying themm to prevent dangerous speculations that can lead to a civil conflict? why didn't they run DNA tests on them? why didnt they take a camera to the scene before burying them?
We are still waiting for Talbani to give us the answers..
