I have read the statements by Michael Calderon, a history teacher at your school, originally published by David Horowitz's Frontpage. It is clear to me that these statements are both incendiary and irresponsible in their less-than-veiled threat against Antiwar.com correspondent, Justin Raimondo, and the other listed parties in the article in question. Your institution needs to take the strongest possible legal and disciplinary action against Mr. Calderon, or be seen as being in either silent acquiescence or covert agreement with the behavior in question...

September 6, 2005 Dr. Debra Munk, Principal Rockville High School Maryland RE: Implied Death Threat Made Against Justin Raimondo by a Member of Your Faculty Antiwar.com Death Threat Story Dear Dr. Munk: I have read the statements by Michael Calderon, a history teacher at your school, originally published by David Horowitz's Frontpage. It is clear to me that these statements are both incendiary and irresponsible in their less-than-veiled threat against Antiwar.com correspondent, Justin Raimondo, and the other listed parties in the article in question. Your institution needs to take the strongest possible legal and disciplinary action against Mr. Calderon, or be seen as being in either silent acquiescence or covert agreement with the behavior in question. My letter to you will be published by BATR News, the leading paleo-conservative site on the Internet, and will be released with NewsReleaseWire.com of Washington tomorrow morning at 0900 hrs. I am also submitting this notification to other news agencies which carry my work, that they too might shed public light on this terrible situation. It may also be said that this scenario goes beyond the morally irresponsible actions of Mr. Calderon in suggesting the legitimacy of violence against Mr. Raimondo and the other commentators in question. It also strikes at the heart of the evaporation of respect for the First Amendment and public expressions of decent, rational dissent from the policies of one George W. Bush and the neo-conservatives like Mr. Horowitz, who support the direction in which the President has taken this country---a direction, I might add, that is now acknowledged by the majority of the American public to be as disastrous as the demonization of dissenters is concurrently despicable. One trusts that your response will be more administratively clear, responsible, and re-affirming of previously-basic American values than what has emanated from the President, Mr. Chertoff, Mr. Brown, and your Mr. Calderon this past week. Your reputation, that of Rockville High School, and the duty owed by both entities to your students and parents depend upon it. In spite of my natural inclination to say something in response to some of the ominous developments in the wake of Katrina, I'm going to hold my tongue until Monday.
