الإسلام: اتهمت هيئة علماء المسلمين قوات الاحتلال الأمريكية يوم الاثنين
بقتل 25 مدنيًا خلال عمليات عسكرية على مدى اليومين الماضيين، رافضة الزعم
الأمريكي بأن القتلى هم من رجال المقاومة.ـ
وحمّلت
الهيئة الاحتلال والحكومة الموالية له المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه
الانتهاكات الوحشية، وكذلك المسؤولية عن الحفاظ على سلامة المعتقلين، ولا
سيما النساء والأطفال.ـ
هذا، وقد قام الاحتلال الأمريكي بعدوان واسع على منطقتي اللطيفية واليوسفية جنوب العاصمة بغداد يومي السبت والأحد.ـ
وقال
بيان هيئة علماء المسلمين أن قوات الاحتلال قامت بإنزال جنودها بنحو سبع
مروحيات لملاحقة الأهالي الهاربين من جحيم نيرانها وقتلهم فور القبض
عليهم؛ حتى وصل عدد الضحايا إلى أكثر من 25 شهيدًا، بحسب ما نقلته

وأشار البيان إلى أن
قوات الاحتلال الأمريكية تصاحبها قوات الحكومة الموالية لها أقدمت مساء
السبت على قصف جوي كثيف بطائراتها المروحية لمنازل الأهالي في منطقة 'شاخة
واحد'، التابعة لناحية اللطيفية جنوب بغداد؛ الأمر الذي اضطر الأهالي إلى
الهروب إلى المزارع والمنازل للاحتماء بها من شدة القصف.ـ
وأوضح البيان أن جيش الاحتلال احتجز ستة أشخاص بينهم امرأتان وطفل، وعاد يوم الاثنين ليعتقل المزيد من الأشخاص. "ـ

أقدمت هذه القوات بمصاحبة الحرس الحكومي في الساعة العاشرة من مساء السبت
13/5 على قصف جويّ كثيف بطائراتها المروحية لمنازل الأهالي في منطقة (شاخة
واحد) التابعة لناحية اللطيفية جنوب بغداد ، الأمر الذي اضطرّ العوائل إلى
الهروب إلى المزارع والمبازل للاحتماء بها من شدة القصف.ـ
كما
قامت بإنزال جنودها بنحو سبع مروحيات لملاحقة الأهالي الهاربين من جحيم
نيرانها وقتلهم فور القبض عليهم حتى وصل عدد الضحايا إلى أكثر من 25
شهيداً ثمّ اعتقلت ستة آخرين بينهم امرأتان هما (إسراءمحمود حسن) و(وداد
أحمد حسن) وطفلة هي (هدى هيثم محمد حسن) كان والدها قد قتل أثناء القصف.ـ
ولم
تنهِ هذه القوات جرائمها عند هذا الحدّ، بل عاودت في الساعة الرابعة من
فجر اليوم (الاثنين) حملتها الشعواء على المنطقة نفسها تساندها قوات الحرس
الحكومي أيضاً فداهمت منازل الأهالي واعتقلت عدداً منهم وشردت الآخرين ثمّ
حولت هذه المنازل إلى مقرات للقنص.ـ
إنّ
هيئة علماء المسلمين تستنكر بشدة هذه الجرائم الإرهابية، وترى أنها تشير
إشارة واضحة إلى هزيمة منكرة في عالم الأخلاق والمثل الإنسانية للاحتلال
وأعوانه الذين يدّعون زوراً وبهتاناً أنهم يخلصون في عملهم لتحرير
العراقيين من الظلم والعدوان."ـ

"At 10 p.m. on Saturday [May 13, 2006] night, American occupation
forces and Iraqi 'national guards' launched a heavy offensive in the
area of (Shakh Wahid) near Latifia, South of Baghdad. The attack
started with an intense strafing by American helicopters of the houses
in the village causing the families to flee into the surrounding farm
land and hide in irrigation ditches to escape from the fierce attack.
Seven
helicopters then landed American soldiers who pursued and killed on
site the fleeing civilians, 25 of whom were martyred. They captured six
civilians including two women, Israa' Mahmoud Hassan and Widad Ahmad
Hassan and a child, Huda Haitham Mohammad Hassan, whose father was
killed during the attack.
The
attack on the same area, again supported by Iraqi 'national guards',
was renewed at 4 a.m. on Monday [May 15, 2006]. This resulted in more
civilian arrests and their houses were used as sniper positions."

"BAGHDAD
(Reuters) - U.S. forces killed over 40 Iraqi rebels in raids and air
strikes near Baghdad, the military said on Monday, but leading clerics
from the Sunni minority accused the Americans of an "atrocity" that
killed two dozen civilians.
Two
U.S. helicopter crew were killed when their aircraft was shot down
during the battles on Sunday in the rural area around Latifiya and
Yusufiya, south of the capital, where the military has said al Qaeda
leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has been active.
The complaint from the
Muslim Clerics Association, the main Sunni Arab religious grouping,
came at a sensitive time as U.S. officials wait anxiously for minority
Sunni political leaders to confirm their participation in a national
unity government.
The
U.S. military said its troops killed 41 people over the preceding two
days, all of them insurgents, referred to either as "al Qaeda
associates" or "terrorists." In doing so it lost its second helicopter
in the area in six weeks.
Among those killed, according to a military statement, was a man suspected in the shooting down of a helicopter on April 1.
U.S.
military statements said several women and children were "inadvertently
wounded by shrapnel" and treated in the site or evacuated, but made no mention of civilians being killed. (emphasis added)
But the Muslim Clerics Association, which has often been sharply critical of the occupying forces, said 25 civilians were dead in the U.S. action (emphasis added): "We hold the Iraqi government and the occupiers responsible for this brutal atrocity."
