Resistance fighters battle US troops in ar-Ramadi Monday night.
In a
dispatch posted at 8:50pm Makkah time Monday night, Mafkarat al-Islam
reported that at that hour fierce fighting was under way between Iraqi
Resistance forces and US occupation troops in the al-Bu 'Alwan area of
ar-Ramadi.
The
correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the combat
erupted when Resistance fighters assaulted a house that US troops had
been using as a headquarters since they threw the homeowner out into the
streets to commandeer his dwelling.
The
correspondent reported that large parts of the house were destroyed in
the attack, forcing the Marines to rush out into a confrontation with
the Resistance fighters. Heavy fighting was raging in the area at the
time of writing.

dispatch posted at 6:30pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that US forces bombed civilian residences in
ar-Ramadi following a Resistance attack on a US headquarters in the
northern part of ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The
correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that about 20 Iraqi
Resistance fighters assaulted two adjacent houses that US troops have
occupied and turned into a local headquarters for themselves in the
as-Sufiyah section of ar-Ramadi at noon Monday. The houses were also
used as a location for carrying on liaison with local residents so that
they are not obliged to make very public trips to the main American
military camp.
The
Resistance assault lasted 15 minutes, during which time Resistance
fighters fired medium machine guns, S-5K rockets, andRPG-7
rocket-propelled grenades reportedly killing a number of US troops. The
Resistance fighters then withdrew safely from the area.
But
US artillery hurried to unleash a revenge barrage on houses in the area,
destroying three local homes and killing or wounding 19 local residents,
most of them women and children.

dispatch posted at 10:06am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US
military column on the main road in the az-Zuyut neighborhood of central
ar-Ramadi, about 110km west of Baghdad.
The
correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the
city as saying that the bomb, which was planted by the side of '17
Tammuz Street’, completely destroyed a US Humvee, killing three American
soldiers and wounding two more of them.
Al-Fallujah.
Resistance bomb strikes US patrol in eastern al-Fallujah.
In a
dispatch posted at 12:21pm Makkah time midday Monday, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US
military patrol in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood of eastern al-Fallujah,
about 60km west of Baghdad.
The
correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb, which
exploded near al-Jadid Street, destroying a Humvee. US forces opened
fire indiscriminately to prevent anyone from approaching the scene where
the attack took place. It was there impossible for the correspondent to
ascertain specific information regarding the nature or extent of
casualties.
Baghdad.
US troops raid Jaysh al-Mahdi stronghold in Baghdad.
US
forces accompanied by their Iraqi puppet army allies entered parts of
the Madinat Saddam area of Baghdad, nicknamed "Madinat as-Sadr" after
the US occupation, sparking a gun battle with Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen
in the district which is a stronghold of Shi'i religious leader Muqtada
as-Sadr.
The
correspondent for Quds Press in the area reported local witnesses
as saying that a US force entered the Section 27 area of ash-Sharikah
and other American troops were seen entering Section 79 of the Kasrah
wa-'Atsh section in the east of the district.
The
correspondent reported that intermittent gunfire could be heard though
it was unclear if those were gun battles or the usual indiscriminate
shooting that American soldiers do when they search civilian houses. US
helicopter gun ships could be seen flying over the area in support of
the American ground troops.
US
and Iraqi puppet troops clashed with Jaysh al-Mahdi militiamen on Monday
morning in the course of operations billed as an American campaign to
crack down on Shi'i sectarian death squads.
Resistance fighters kill three puppet policemen in al-Ghazaliyah.
In a
dispatch posted at 10am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat al-Islam
reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters shot and killed three
pro-American Badr Brigade Shi'i sectarian gunmen in western Baghdad’s
district of al-Ghazaliyah. The three were concurrently members of the
US-installed "Iraqi" puppet police.
The
Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses
as saying that that Resistance fighters equipped with light arms
attacked a civilian car carrying the three pro-American sectarian gunmen
on the highway. The Resistance fighters killed the pro-American gunmen
and then immediately left the scene.
Resistance ambushes US column in ar-Ridwaniyah area Sunday night.
In a
dispatch posted at 11:36am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a US column
on the highway between ar-Ridwaniyah and al-Yusufiyah southwest of
Baghdad Sunday night.
The
correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the
village of al-Kartan in ar-Ridwaniyah as saying that Resistance fighters
armed with light and medium weapons and pipe rockets attacked the US
column, sparking a battle that lasted about 20 minutes and left an
American armored vehicle destroyed and a Humvee disabled.
Since the attack took place during the hours of nighttime curfew, no
information on the nature or extent of casualties was available.

Resistance car bomber blasts camp of puppet "Shock Troops" in Samarra’
Monday afternoon.
In a
dispatch posted at 5:40pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that a short while earlier an Iraqi Resistance
fida’i fighter drove a car bomb into a headquarters of the puppet
"Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops (Maghawir)" in Samarra’, about
120km north of Baghdad.
The
Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical
source as saying that the attack left 40 puppet "Shock Troops" dead or
wounded by preliminary count. Witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam
that the Resistance fighter drove a Renault with a load capacity of
eight tons into the camp, near the Samarra’ sports club. At the time of
reporting medical services were working to recover the bodies of the
dead and the survivors.
Bayji.
Resistance bomb disables Bradley armored vehicle, reportedly killing US
soldier southwest of Bayji.
In a
dispatch posted at 10:12am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US
military column on the highway that runs southwest from Bayji (located
about 200km north of Baghdad) to al-Hadithah.
The
correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who
live in the oil refinery town of as-Siniyah just southwest of Bayji as
saying that the bomb disabled a US Bradley armored vehicle, killing one
American soldier and wounding three more of them.

Puppet regime admits: six puppet army troops killed in Monday morning

A
communiqué issued by the US-installed puppet "Iraqi Army" admitted
Monday that six of the soldiers in its fourth battalion in the city of
Balad Ruz, about 50km northeast of Baghdad, were killed in a Resistance
attack.
The
Ba'qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the puppet
Army communiqué as saying that the Resistance attack took place early on
Monday morning and that one of the Resistance fighters was also killed.

Al-Hillah.
Resistance bomb reportedly kills US soldier just north of al-Hillah
Monday afternoon.
In a
dispatch posted at 6:20pm Makkah time Monday afternoon, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by US
troops on the road near Abu 'Ajjaj, about 5km north of al-Hillah, at 5pm
Monday afternoon.
The
al-Hillah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source
in the local puppet police as saying that the bomb had been packed in a
cooking gas cylinder and left by the side of the road in an area well
known as a black market for cooking gas cylinders.
The
explosion disabled a Humvee and killed one American soldier. A hawker
who happened to be in the area was also injured in the blast.
The
blast was the second such explosion Monday. On Monday morning a bomb on
the same street wounded a number of American troops and killed one
civilian.

In a
dispatch posted at 11:59am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US
military patrol on the main road north of al-Hillah, about 100km south
of Baghdad.
The
correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the bomb
exploded near the fuel station to the north of al-Hillah, disabling a
Humvee and killing or wounding the four American troops aboard it.
Al-Latifiyah.
Resistance bomb rips through puppet "National Guard" patrol.
In a
dispatch posted at 10:39am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a puppet
"Iraqi National Guard" patrol on the main road to the al-Ba'th command
post in the middle of al-Latifiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad.
The
correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in the
al-Ba'th neighborhood as saying that the blast disabled a Humvee and
killed two Iraqi puppet "Guards" and severely wounded three more of
them.

Resistance bomb injures for US troops in al-Mawsil.
In a
dispatch posted at 11:50am Makkah time Monday morning, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded by a US
military column on the main road near the al-Muthanna neighborhood in
western al-Mawsil in northern Iraq.
The
correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses in
al-Muthanna as saying that the bomb disabled a US Humvee, wounding four
American soldiers, two of them severely.
