Resistance marksman reportedly kills US soldier in eastern al-Fallujah.
In a dispatch posted at 3:10pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance marksman had shot
and killed a US soldier in the ad-Dubbat neighborhood of eastern
al-Fallujah.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that the American soldier was shot when he was
atop the American camp in the south of the neighborhood on observation
duty. The Resistance sharpshooter’s bullet struck him directly, killing
him instantly. He was seen falling from the roof of the camp.
Six US Marines reported killed in rocket attack on Friday night.
In a dispatch posted at 10:20am Mecca time Saturday morning,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a source in the Iraqi puppet army had
admitted that six US soldiers had been killed on Friday night in a
rocket attack on an occupation headquarters in the middle of
al-Fallujah.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Major
Sa'd al-Ma'muri as saying that six US Marines had been killed when four
mortar rounds blasted into the US headquarters set up in the local
governorate building.
Ar-Ramadi.
American troops raid internet cafés, arrest seven local patrons.
US occupation troops raided two internet cafés in the middle and
western parts of ar-Ramadi, 110km west of Baghdad on Saturday afternoon
The ar-Ramadi correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that US
troops arrested more than seven local people out of more than 30
customers who were in the cafés, charging them with internet surfing
and corresponding with Islamist and jihadi websites.
The correspondent reported that the Americans seized all the
computers in the internet cafés along with their programmed disks and
papers.
For its part the US forces announced over their Radio al-Hurriyah
propaganda station beamed at the residents of ar-Ramadi that the raids
took place after they had received information that members of
al-Qa'idah and other Resistance forces were using the internet for
communication.
Resistance blasts US-occupied positions in ar-Ramadi Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 10:10am Mecca time Saturday morning,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had fired four
mortar rounds into the old Immigration Department office building in
downtown ar-Ramadi – a facility that the US occupation forces have
taken over and turned into one of their headquarters.
In addition, the Resistance fired three rockets into the American
al-Warrar base west of the city at 7am local time Saturday morning. The
rocket attack sent clouds of smoke billowing up as sirens wailed inside
the American compound.
Baghdad.
Resistance bomb blasts puppet police in Bab al-Mu'azzam area of Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 3:40pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a puppet police patrol on the main road in the Bab al-Mu'azzam area
in northeastern Baghdad.
A source in the Iraqi puppet police told the Baghdad correspondent
for Mafkarat al-Islam that a bomb that had been planted by the side of
the road near the al-Qutn intersection blew up by a passing patrol,
completely destroying one of the patrol cars and killing three puppet
policemen and wounding two more of them.
Resistance bomb targets puppet "Shock Troops" in ad-Durah.
In a dispatch posted at 3:20pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a column of puppet "Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock Troops" in the
southern Baghdad suburb of ad-Durah.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been plante don the main
road leading to the highway in southeastern ad-Durah blew up as the
"Shock Troop" patrol was driving past. The explosion disabled one of he
patrol vehicles, killing four "Shock Troops" and wounding five more of
them.
Two US soldiers reported killed in bombing in eastern Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 3pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
military column on the highway in southeast Baghdad.
The Baghdad correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source
in the Iraqi puppet police as saying that a bomb that had been planted
by the side of the highway to the eastern parts of the city blew up as
a column of several American Humvees drove past. The explosion disabled
one Humvee, killing two US soldiers and wounding two more of them.
Resistance bombards "Green Zone" Saturday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 9:50am Mecca time Saturday morning,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces had bombarded
the area around the Republican Palace in downtown Baghdad – the
district that the Americans have dubbed the "Green Zone" where they
have established the headquarters of their occupation.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the
puppet security forces as telling a number of journalists that a
lieutenant colonel in the Iraqi puppet army was killed along with five
other puppet troops who had been charged with guarding the southern
gate to the "Green Zone."
Four other rockets blasted into various places in the "Green Zone"
after which the correspondent saw two US helicopters flying in at low
altitudes as sirens wailed inside the heavily guarded compound.

Al-Latifiyah.
Resistance bomb south of al-Latifiyah reportedly kills US soldier.
In a dispatch posted at 4:30pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a US military column on the highway near Amwaylihah south of
al-Latifiyah, some 25km south of Baghdad.
The al-Latifiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb exploded by the side of the highway
as a US column was passing by. The explosion disabled a US armored
vehicle, killing one American soldier and wounding a second.

Resistance shells US headquarters in Samarra’.
In a dispatch posted at 4:10pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance forces fired three
82mm mortar rounds into the US military headquarters set up in the
middle of Samarra’, north of Baghdad.
The Samarra’ correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that the US headquarters in the middle of the
city was rocked by three explosions when the shells struck, sending
plumes of smoke rising from inside the compound.
At-Tarimiyah.
Resistance ambushes US column, disables tank.
In a dispatch posted at 2:50pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a detachment of Iraqi Resistance
fighters attacked a US military column on the main road in the city of
at-Tarimiyah, just north of Baghdad on Saturday.
The at-Tarimiyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that the Resistance fighters, equipped with
light arms and pipe rockets attacked the US column, disabling one tank
and wounding four American troops who were aboard it, one of them
seriously.

Al-Khalis.
Bomb rips through headquarters of collaborationist "Islamic Party" in al-Khalis.
In a dispatch posted at 7:30pm Mecca time Saturday night, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that a bomb had exploded near the headquarters of the
so-called "Iraqi Islamic Party" in al-Khalis, killing five party
members and wounding three more of them.
Mafkarat al-Islam reported the Islamic Party’s website as saying
that the Iraqi puppet police declared that the explosion apparently was
targeted at the members of the party who are a major part of the
so-called "Iraqi Conciliation Front" of political groups that are
collaborating with the occupation and participating in the elections an
political process as imposed by the US forces.
The Islamic Party, an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood
fundamentalist organization, was formed after the US occupation of Iraq
with a view to playing a role in the US-run administration of the
country. The head of the party held a seat on the puppet "Governing
Council" put together by L. Paul Bremer, the American Proconsul of
Iraq, after the American occupation of the country in the spring of
2003. Since then, the Islamic Party has operated in the Sunni
community, pressing for cooperation with the US occupation and for
participation in the American-run political process. Several Iraqi
Resistance organizations have denounced the Islamic Party as
treasonous.
Ba'qubah.
American soldier reported killed in bombing in Ba'qubah.
In a dispatch posted at 5pm Mecca time Saturday evening, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
patrol on the main road in the at-Tahrir section of Ba'qubah, northeast
of Baghdad.
The Diyala Province correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that a bomb that had been planted next to the
road blew up as a US patrol was driving past. The explosion disabled a
Humvee, killing one US soldier and wounding two more of them.
Resistance shoots at US helicopter in Ba'qubah.
Iraqi Resistance forces opened fire on a US helicopter in western
Ba'qubah at dawn Saturday morning, inflicting slight damage to the rear
of the vehicle.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses who
live in a village near Ba'qubah as saying that the helicopter managed
to open fire at the Resistance fighters but failed to hit them.

Al-Hawijah.
Resistance bomb blasts US column in al-Hawijah early Saturday.
An Iraqi Resistance bomb exploded in the city of al-Hawijah, southwest of Kirkuk at 8am local time Saturday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported from al-Hawijah
that eyewitnesses saw a disabled Humvee an a number of US troops who
were wounded in the blast. Afterwards, US forces surrounded the main
street in al-Hawijah for an hour and a half. The casualties were
evacuated from the area and then the wreckage of the Humvee the
correspondent reported.
Resistance bomb reportedly kills eight US Marines in al-Hawijah Friday.
An Iraqi Resistance fida’i fighter drove an explosives-laden car
into a US mine sweeper on the road between the town of ar-Rashad and
the al-Hawijah area southwest of Kirkuk on Friday. A local witness told
Quds Press that the explosion left eight US Marines dead.
The source said that immediately following the attack, American
troops closed the area and prevented anyone approaching. They then
raided and searched a number of nearby houses.
The Iraqi Resistance organization Base al-Qa'idah
of the Jihad in the Land of the Two Rivers distributed leaflets on
local mosques in al-Hawiyjah taking responsibility for the attack on
Friday evening. The leaflets said that the attack had been carried out
by a member of the Brigade of al-Barra’ ibn 'Azib.
Quds Press also reported that US forces had bombarded a wedding in
the al-Hawijah area on Friday night, but there was no information on
the nature or extent of casualties.

Mosul.
Resistance bomb blasts US patrol in Mosul.
In a dispatch posted at 4:40pm Mecca time Saturday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a US military patrol on the main road in the al-Muthanna area in the
middle of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
The Mosul correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported eyewitnesses
as saying that a bomb that had been planted by the side of the road
that leads to the center of the city blew up as a patrol of several US
Humvees was driving past. The blast damaged one of the vehicles,
wounding three American troops.
