The shooting targeted a car they were riding. Security forces arrested the one who was injured and another one who was also with them in the car... Homs: Sahar Abdulkader Atasi was martyred when she died from her injuries. Security forces had shot her in the neighborhood of Inshaat when she was trying to flee from the neighborhood with her husband and his sister, who were martyred right away...

Hasakeh: Ghowairan: The number of injured people has risen to 23 tonight. The demonstrators have reached the statue of Basel Assad at Risafeh roundabout. They are attempting to topple it and burn it, while security forces are heading towards them.

Daraa: Kharbet Ghazaleh: Intense gunfire by the regime's heavy weaponry and BTR vehicles by forces stationed at the nort Military checkpoint separating the town from Da'eel. All communications (internet, cellular, and terrestrial) have been completely severed.

Damascus: Takbir, "God is Great," demonstrations are taking place inside the houses in Midan, Kafarsouseh, Dumr Projects. The loud chants are echoed throughout the city and are heard all the way to the Islands, especially the 6th, 7th, and 10th Island.

Damascus Suburbs: Douma: Intense shooting in many areas of the city amid electricity and communications blackouts.

Daraa: Nahte: Violent clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime's froces stationed at the village's checkpoint.

Aleppo: An evening demonstration set out in the village of Sahara, chanting for the disaster-stricken cities and demanding the toppling of the regime and trying its leading figures.

Hasaka: The number of injuries in Ghoweran neighborhood has risen to more than 20 including critical conditions due to the continued shooting by security forces.

Idlib: Maaret Al-Nouman: Martyrdom of Abdulla Alsaboh, 36 years old, married with several children, he was shot in random gunfire from a security checkpoint, where he was wounded by a bullet inside his house.

Daraa: Adwan: Mohammad Ayman Qarfan was martyred. He died from the injuries he suffered when the town was stormed.

Aleppo Suburbs: Atareb: The town remains besieged for the fifth consecutive day amidst random shelling by tanks and fire from heavy machine guns. Snipers have spread on the rooftops and on mosques. Many residents are trying to flee while security forces and Shabiha loot and demolish shops.

Aleppo: security forces arrested six of the protesters in front of the Criminal Investigations branch who were asking for the release of detainees.

Daraa: Daeel: Clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime's forces and communications are being cut off the town.

Deir Ezzor: A powerful explosion on Naher Street followed by intense gunfire near the Police Station.

Deir Ezzor: Aashera: Security forces launched a raid campaign and arrested civilians before sunset. The detainees include Fouad Ghanam al-Basha and Mohammed Salby.

Damascus: Wadi Mashareeh: A demonstration started where participants chanted for the disaster-stricken cities and demanded to topple the regime.

Damascus Suburbs: Malieha: An evening demonstration started in the village in solidarity with the disaster-stricken cities. Participants chanted for all the Syrian martyrs, including Malieha and Mezzeh.

Aleppo: Bezza'a: An evening demonstration started and participants chanted for the disaster-stricken cities and requested for international support for the Free Syrian Army.

Aleppo: Qabaseen: An evening demonstration started at the Main Roundabout; participants chanted for the disaster-stricken cities and demanded the regime's ouster.

Damascus Suburbs: Qodsaya: A demonstration with huge women's participation started at Hurriyah (Freedom) Square chanting for the martyrs and the disaster-stricken cities and demanding the toppling of the regime.

Deir Ezzor: A demonstration started now in the village of Kharita chanting for the disaster-stricken cities and demanding the toppling of the regime.

Homs: Sahar Abdulkader Atasi was martyred when she died from her injuries. Security forces had shot her in the neighborhood of Inshaat when she was trying to flee from the neighborhood with her husband and his sister, who were martyred right away.

Damascus: Medan: An evening demonstration in the Ghawwas neighborhood in solidarity with Mazzah and the rest of the besieged cities and neighborhoods.

Aleppo: Al Atareb: Renewed heavy and arbitrary shelling along with gun firing using heavy weapons.

Homs: Firing with RPG from Al Farabi checkpoint in Bab Al-Sbaa neighborhood toward the buildings along with heavy gun firing.

Deir Ezzor: A campaign of raids and mass arrests for youths and children along with on purpose vandalism of houses with clear confusion of security in Al Mayadeen neighborhood.

Homs: Martyrdom of Rateeba Al Omar in Bab al-Draib neighborhood after firing the area with mortar shells. Many were injured including children.

Aleppo: A sit-in in front of the Criminal Security branch in Aleppo; the protesters are calling for the release of the 4 young men who were arrested on Thurseday.

Homs: A house in Bab Draib neighborhood was hit by 3 mortars and burnt completely while women and children were inside, they are getting help now by pulling them out.

Daraa: Bosra Harir: Several martyrs and wounded are reported due to heavy shelling of the city where several homes were burned to the ground. Families are not able to reach their wounded relatives due to the heavy bombardment.

Homs; intense gunfire at Karm Zeitoun neighborhood coming from Khansaa checkpoint. Two shells fired by the same checkpoint have landed near the Electricity Municipality payment center.

Aleppo: a convoy of security service vehicles, fully armored, is heading toward Salah Eddin neighborhood.

Damascus suburbs: Al-Tal: A demonstration got out in solidarity with Rankus and besieged cities inspite of snow fall.

Homs: The youth Amer Basar Tayara was martyerd in Bab Draib neighbourood.

Damascus: Hajar Asswad: a large demonstration started from Abi Baker Al-Siddiq mosque. Protestors chanted in solidarity with Mazzeh, Baba Amr and the rest of the stricken areas.

Homs: Saher Abed al-Qadder Atassi follows the rest of her family in martyrdom today. The regime targeted the entire family with gunfire in their attempt to flee the Inshaat neighborhood.

Aleppo: Izaz: Recruit Mostafa Hamidi was martyred at the hands of security forces due to suspicions of his loyalty to the regime and possible defection.

Hassakah: demonstrators tear down a large poster of the criminal Bashar Assad and his father at the electricity municipality center of Ras Al-Ein neighborhood and raise the Independence Flag instead.

Idlib: Maarat Nouman: Mahmoud Ibn Rahmawa, 20, and another unidentified young man were martyred as a result of the ongoing shelling by the regime's forces at their town. Widespread destruction in private properties has been reported.

Aleppo: Jarablus: A massive demonstration started in solidarity with the besieged cities and to confirm that they are part of this revolution.

Damascus Suburbs: Maleha: The ophthalmologist Wael Suhail Daghmas is still detained since 4 months. He was arrested on 23-8-2011 by the Air Force Security members and no information was received about him since then.

Daraa: Bidding farewell to martyr Yosuf Al-Kour despite the strict siege around the city and snipers' deployment on the rooftops of high buildings.

Lattakia: Military recruit Belal Fahd Kareesh, who defected from the regime's army, was executed in the field in Lattakia, where he was doing his military service. Belal id from Karm Al-Shami neighborhood in Homs.

Damascus Suburbs: Rankoos: Intense shooting at the city by the regime's forces is now taking place.

Deir Ezzor: Ashara: Security forces and Shabiha launched an arrest campaign. They arrested dozens including: Poet and writer Ismaeel Ibrahim Al-Khalaf, Shikh Jabr Al-Obaid Al-Rahman mosque preacher, Sheikh Salah Al-Mosa Al-Basha mosque preacher, Rami Al-Qanees Arabic teacher, and Ibrahim Fassal Al-Najras.

Daraa: Basr Al-Hareer: The regime's army is shelling the only clinic in the town with tanks and heavy weaponry. The surrounding residential buildings were affected as well.

Daraa: Basr Al-Harer: Dozens were arrested, houses are being destroyed, and random shooting after storming the town by security forces and regime's army.

Homs: The young woman Hanan Husseinat was martyred when she was shot in the chest in the neighborhood of Karam Zaytoun.

Damascus Suburbs: Qodsaya: A massive funeral procession started for the martyr from Hameh, Iyad Baba, chanting for the martyr and for Mazzeh and the disaster-stricken cities

Daraa: Tafas: Random storming and arrest campaign in the village included more than 20 persons until moment.

Daraa: Busr Al Harir: The regime's military stormed the village under intensive gunfire.

Daraa: Daeel: Heavy explosions in town and intense fire from heavy weapons.

Deir Ezzor: Thousands participating in the funeral of martyr Naser Al Sabah, from Jubailah area, the security forces are shooting to disperse the mourners.

Daraa: Harra: Intense shooting from heavy and light weaponry by security forces in all the checkpoints deployed all over the city and its vicinty.




A Massacre in Kafar Nabodeh, Another Crime in the Regime’s Teeming Record

Feb. 16, 2012, around 10 a.m. on Thursday, during the random shelling campaign on the town of Kafar Naboudeh, a car filled with a several defected soldiers was targeted by a shell from an armored vehicle, while it was passing through a commercial street near a Bakery that people usually gather around. The car contained explosives; all seven soldiers riding inside were killed instantly while several others were wounded, including deaths among civilians in the area.
Passersby approached the car to rescue the wounded when the regime targeted them with artillery shells, which led to the fall of more martyrs, and many serious injuries including amputations.
In the initial outcome of civilians wounded in the massacre was around 25 which were transported to a nearby hospital, however, the hospital was unable to accommodate everyone, leading to further deaths. Only three cases were admitted to the OR and they were later martyred due to their severe wounds and shortage of medical supplies. The remainder of the wounded were taken to other hospitals, despite their injuries, they were later checked out by family members amid fears of security forces raiding the hospitals and arresting them.
The number of martyrs has reached 15 up until now. This number will climb due to the nature of the injuries and the shortage of medical staff and supplies.
The fate of those injured remains unknown, since they were moved to other areas and due to a communication cut-off in the Hama suburbs. The names of the Martyrs documented far are as follows:
