For the first time since the US invasion: Resistance bombardment and
assaults force US troops to evacuate base south of Baghdad. Local
people swarm in to witness burned out remnants of defeated American
hordes.

Iraqi forces pounded US troops in their base in base in the
Ridwaniyat ad-Duwaylibah area of Mazra`at `Uday south of Baghdad
Wednesday morning inflicting such severe casualties on the Americans
that for the first time since the US invasion of Iraq, the US troops
totally evacuated their base.

The Americans left behind numerous dead as well as smashed cars and
armored vehicles. The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent in the area
visited the inside of the reclaimed US base with the first wave of
local people to visit the facility – a visit that took place at
exactly 6:45pm Wednesday night – only fifteen minutes after the last
American soldier vacated the premises.

The correspondent saw 14 Humvees abalaze inside the camp, with
nothing left of them except their wrecked chassis. Four amphibious
armored vehicles were also completely on fire. The correspondent
also saw the Americans' tents that had been reduced to ashes by the
flame.

The correspondent wrote that it appeared that the US base had been
shelled by some sort of chemical weapons, since a green tint was
noticeable on the ground in the area of the camp. This was a sign
that a chemical warhead had been used, as was previously noted in
attacks on the al-Hadbah camp and in Mosul and ar-Ramadi that were
hit by Resistance chemical shells some months ago.

Later an Iraqi Resistance martyrdom bomber detonated himself amidst
the fleeing Americans inflicting further damage on them. The
correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported three US amphibious
armored vehicles were driving away carrying crowds of US troops on
the ad-Duwaylibah - Sadr al-Yusufiyah road when the booby-trapped
car drove into them, killing at least 15 Americans – a number likely
to rise.

in al-Qa'im city.

There were apparently about 50 Iraqi Resistance fighters taking part
in the attack. The Resistance totally crushed the occupation troop
force, destroying all the vehicles and killing 12 Marines and 14 of

Resistance attack devastates meeting of top US occupation commanders
with leading collaborationist tribes. 25 Americans, 27 Iraqi puppet
troops said killed in massive blast.

At least 25 US troops and 27 Iraqi puppet "national guardsmen" and
puppet policemen were killed in a massive car bombing that targeted
a secret meeting of the occupation forces' command with leaders of
collaborationist tribes in Abu Ghurayb. The local correspondent of
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that a Russian-built Zil blew up in a
massive explosion in the area where the secret meeting was under way
between an Abu Ghurayb complex building and a building belonging to
the puppet "national guard" ("ACBC") set up and run by the US
aggressors.

Forty US and Iraqi puppet troops backed by 10 Humvees and six
Bradley armored vehicles were guarding the place where the meeting
was behing held.

The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the car,
believed to be carrying about 2 tonnes of explosives, destroyed the
two buildings, making it likely that the US commanders and
collaborationist tribal leaders were all killed, since none of them
came out before the massive explosion occurred.

Body parts of the dead were strewn over a wide area around the site
of the massive explosion. One member of the Iraqi puppet forces
estimated the number of dead at 25 Americans and 27 Iraqi puppet
troops.

According to the correspondent, some sources report that the
explosives used in the blast came from ordnance that had been unfit
for use, but that the Resistance had managed to modify it to work.

In addition to the target buildings, several local buildings were
also affected. Prior to the blast, however, the Resistance warned
people in the area to leave their homes, particularly since the area
in the proximity of US and Iraqi puppet facilities is a permanent
target area for the Resistance.

The operation demonstrates that the Resistance has succeeded in
penetrating the Iraqi puppet security apparatus, as the Resistance
was able to pinpoint the exact time and place of the meeting despite
the thick veil of secrecy that enveloped it.

Massive double car bombing kills 39 Americans including CIA agents.

Twenty-one Americans were killed around noon on Thursday when an
explosives-laden Opel car detonated in the midst of a column of US
troops on the highway to Saddam International Airport opposite the
al-`Amil neighborhood to the east and the Ibn Taymiyah Mosque to the
west.

The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the American
column had been made up of GMC cars, of the type used by the
American intelligence agencies, which were being escorted and
guarded by several Bradley armored vehicles and Humvees.

The massive car bomb killed 21 Americans when it blew one Bradley,
three of the GMCs, and three of the Humvees to pieces.

Then as the Americans were putting the remains of their dead in
plastic bags, a black car appeared on the scene in the midst of the
troops and violently exploded killing 18 more Americans and
destroying two Bradley armored vehicles and two Humvees.

In his dispatch posted at 2:45pm local time (1:45pm Mecca time) the
correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam wrote that the Americans had
encircled the area amidst fears that a third bombing might occur.
Three Apache helicopters were patrolling the skies above the area of
the attack, combing the district for potential targets.

A CIA helicopter that the Iraqis call a "Ghazal" landed snipers on
high buildings in the area dressed in civilian attire and equipped
with sniper shells.

In a report posted at 3:45pm Mecca time (4:45pm Baghdad time) the
Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent wrote that fierce fighting had
broken out in the agricultural area between Abu Ghurayb and al-
Karmah after the double car bombing in the area on Thursday.

Details on children's deaths in the al-`Amil bombings.

A Resistance organization has placed the onus for the deaths of 25
Iraqis, including 21 children, on Thursday upon their families who
failed to respond to repeated warnings by the Resistance.

Leaflets circulated in al-`Amil before sunset Thursday that blamed
the families in the area for the deaths of their children who by
chance were in the vicinity of the American column when it was
targeted by two Iraqi Resistance martyrdom bombers, killing some 40
US troops.

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent, who visited the scene of the
attack immediately afterwards and spoke with local residents,
confirms that the US forces for some three weeks had been accustomed
to using local children as human shields. They would throw out
cheap candies, sports balls, and extremely cheap tee-shirts as they
passed through the area in order to attract the children to the
military vehicles whenever they came through the area. Today they
did the same thing, as has become their practice, and as a result a
large number of children gathered around the US Humvees and armored
vehicles that had come in for an American celebration of the
reopening of a heavy water treatment facility that had been build by
the Iraqi government under President Saddam Hussein, but wrecked by
the US invasion.

Further evidence that this is true came from an American Associated
Press (AP) report that quoted a 12-year-old boy, `Abd ar-Rahman
Dawud in hospital after being injured in the blast, as saying, "the
Americans called us, they told us, `Come here, come here,' asking us
if we wanted sweets. We went beside them, then a car exploded."

The Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent reported that the Iraqi
Resistance had been warning civilians for more than a year against
approaching the US troops, because the latter are always a
legitimate target of the Resistance. But in particular, for the
last three weeks the Resistance in the area had been particularly
reiterating these warnings to local people since families were not
heeding the Resistance instructions and were allowing the Americans
to make use of their children as shields.

The urgings of the Resistance took various forms. Warnings were
issued in local mosques. Leaflets were circulated among passers by
in the street and were posted on walls. The Mafkarat al-Islam
correspondent learned that starting Wednesday the Resistance made
another concerted effort to warn the local people once again not to
expose their loved ones to danger by permitting them to approach
groups of US troops. Again leaflets were circulated and
instructions given to preachers in mosques to implore the people not
to approach the US forces.

Of course the Resistance could not specify the time and place that
the attack would take place, the correspondent noted.

Many local residents now regret ignoring the warnings of the
resistance. Some tell of a tall, slender stranger who vigorously
scolded the children for getting near the Americans just a half an
hour before the blast. Other witnesses told Mafkarat al-Islam that
the driver of the first martyrdom attack car was obviously shocked
to see the children on the scene, and he therefore started firing
warning shots quickly into the air but the incident happened so fast
that few had time to react before the blasts took the lives of at
least 39 US troops in addition to the 21 children, two mothers and a
youth who was hanging around the children, and one man who had a
heart attack as a result of the shock of the blast.

Informed sources also told Mafkarat al-Islam that an American
general was to attend the celebration about the water station, but
was saved by virtue of the fact that he was late for the ceremony.

This was not the first use of human shields by US forces in Iraq.
Just several days ago US troops on Hayfa Street in Baghdad.
American forces were retreating out of the district with Resistance
forces in pursuit until they reached the area near the so-
called "green zone" when a US officer kidnapped a child of seven and
threatened to kill him if the Resistance fighters approached any
closer. When the fighters failed to respond quickly to his threat,
the American officer killed the child in the car he was driving.

In addition the US troops have taken to capturing and interrogating
small children on a regular basis in an effort to gather
intelligence on the Resistance fighters.

The Zionists also have widely used local people as human shields in
their wars against the Palestinian and other Arab people, the
Mafkarat al-Islamcorrespondent noted.
Twenty US and Iraqi puppet troops reported killed in Resistance car
bombing of US base in Tal`afar.

The correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that eyewitnesses
related how an Iraqi Resistance car bomb exploded inside a US camp
in the Tal`afar area on the Iraqi-Syrian border, killing a number of
US and Iraqi puppet troops.

The witnesses said that a group of Resistance fighters mounted an
attack at the southern gate to the US military base, firing Dimitrov
machineguns from a car. Three men then got out of the car and fired
BKC automatic weapons as they continued the attack on the gate.

At this time an explosives-laden Opel car burst through the gate and
drove more than 200 meters into the camp where it exploded in a
thunderous blast.

The correspondent reported that sources among the Iraqi puppet
troops reported that the blast killed more than 20 American and
Iraqi puppet soldiers.

Thirteen American troops and three Iraqi Resistance fighters killed
in combat in al-Qa'im Thursday evening.

that took place at 6:30pm Thursday. The al-Qa'im correspondent of
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Resistance forces attacked a US
column of three Bradley armored vehicles and six Humvees.

Two armored vehicles were destroyed and the third disabled. But it
appears that the Resistance forces were slow in getting out of the
area and three American Cobra helicopters appeared and attacked the
Resistance fighters, killing three of them and destroying two of
their cars.

Tarimiyah.

Iraqi Resistance forces attacked a group of US troops concentrated
north of Baghdad around the at-Tarimiyah Lake. The US detachment
included of two Abrams tanks. The Resistance fighters too 10
American troops in the detachment captive, and seized the two tanks,
which they drove off to an unknown destination at about 11:30am
Thursday morning local time.

The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam in the at-Tarimiyah
area reported that US troops then encircled the area and mounted a
search for the prisoners. One of the Humvees taking part in the
search was then ambushed by the Resistance who fired C5Ks and rocket-
propelled grenades at it destroying the vehicle and killing four men
aboard.

The correspondent reported in a dispatch posted at 4:05pm local time
(3:05pm Mecca time), that the Americans had sent three F-16 fighter
bombers and four Apache helicopters out to take part in the search
for the captured US troops.

The area of at-Tarimiyah, essentially an agricultural region, famous
for its date palm groves, is about 230km. The palm trees grow in
thickets to be about eight meters tall and can provide good cover
for hiding tanks and captives.

The Resistance fighters are likely to destroy the tanks, since
despite the natural cover, keeping them when the area is surrounded
and under search is extremely difficult. This is particularly true
since the vehicles are equipped with satellite tracking equipment.
The fact that the helicopters as of the time of the report had still
not found the tanks, however, indicates that the Resistance fighters
were able to deactivate that tracking system.

As to the captives, the Resistance might either execute them or
enter into secret talks with US commanders for their release in
exchange for the release of Resistance fighters held prisoner by the
Americans. The latter took place during the US siege of al-Fallujah
in spring 2004, when the Resistance secured the release of more than
250 Resistance fighters who had been captured by the Americans, in
return for the release of US officers.

In a later report posted at 4:45pm local time (3:45pm Mecca time)
the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent wrote that fighting had broken
out in the area north of Baghdad as US forces continued their search
for 10 captive American troops and two Abrams tanks.

Resistance mounts major strike at US base in at-Tarimiyah area.

US forces were preparing to increase their numbers in the joint US-
Iraqi puppet base in the at-Tarimiyah area in order to intensify
their search for 10 captured Americans and two captured Abrams tanks
when Resistance forces mounted a major car bomb attack on their
facility.

The local correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi
Resistance martyrdom fighter blew up his explosives laden car at
about 1:30pm local time Thursday afternoon, setting off a huge
explosion that shook the entire area and spread panic among local
residents living three kilometers from the blast.

Reliable sources told Mafkarat al-Islam that 22 military personnel
were killed and 45 wounded in the blast – Americans and Iraqi puppet
troops. No more precise breakdown of the casualties by nationality
was available.

Body parts were collected from all over the camp where they were
blown by the power of the enormous explosion.

The most recent operations of the Iraqi Resistance indicate that
they have taken on a highly organized and coordinated military
character, as revealed in the two car bombings aimed at US and
collaborator targets earlier Thursday. The latest attack on the
base in at-Tarimiyah appears aimed at smashing US efforts to supply
and reinforce the search for the captured American troops.

US troops reportedly find blown-up remains of the two Abrams tanks.

In a report posted at 6:14pm Mecca time (7:14pm Baghdad time) the
correspondent of Mafkarat al-Islam wrote that it had been reported
that US troops had found the remains of two American Abrams tanks
captured by the Resistance in the at-Tarimiyah area late in the
morning.
