US shells family home in Hit, killing five: father, mother, three children.
In a dispatch posted at 1:30pm Mecca time Tuesday, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that US occupation forces had shelled the home of a
family of five – a man, his wife, and their three children – in the
western Iraqi city of Hit Tuesday morning.
The Hit correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Dr. 'Amar
al-'Ani as saying that the five family members were all killed in the
shelling. The US military had made no statement about the attack as of
the time of reporting.
As-Saqlawiyah.
Resistance fires mortar shell into puppet police checkpoint north of al-Fallujah.
Iraqi Resistance forces fired a mortar medium-caliber mortar shell
into an Iraqi puppet police checkpoint in the middle of as-Saqlawiyah,
a northern suburb of al-Fallujah, some 60km west of Baghdad, on Tuesday
morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the
puppet police as saying that one puppet policeman had been killed and
five more of them wounded in the attack.
Al-Habbaniyah.
Resistance bomb blasts US military column in al-Habbaniyah.
In a dispatch posted at 1:10pm Mecca time Tuesday, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded by a US
military column in the middle of al-Habbaniyah, west of al-Fallujah.
The al-Habbaniyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported
eyewitnesses as saying that they had seen one US vehicle ablaze after
the attack, but were unable to find out anything about the fate of the
American occupation troops who had been aboard it.
After the bombing, US military forces arrested four local residents
who happened to be near the scene when the explosion occurred.
Abu Ghurayb.
Resistance rockets set Abu Ghurayb prison camp on fire.
Iraqi Resistance forces bombarded the notorious American Abu
Ghurayb prison camp at 5am local time Tuesday morning, igniting a
destructive fire that raged for a full hour, according to the Iraqi
puppet army.
The Abu Ghurayb correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a
source in the puppet army as saying that two Grad rockets blasted into
the prison starting a fire. The blaze prompted the army there to summon
a fire-fighting unit of the Iraqi puppet army to battle the fire.
Bomb targets US troops near Abu Ghurayb Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 11:10am Mecca time Tuesday morning,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a US military column on the main road between Abu Ghurayb and
al-Fallujah.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the Tuesday morning blast caused no casualties among the American forces.
Baghdad.
Resistance kidnaps brother of Iraqi puppet "Interior Minister" Sulagh.
In a bulletin posted at 6:45pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that a short while earlier the Iraqi puppet police
had announced that the brother of the puppet "Iraqi Interior Minister"
Bayan Baqir Sulagh, who has been at the center of a prison torture
scandal, had been kidnapped in Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a spokesman for
the al-Qadisiyah puppet police in central Baghdad as saying that
Resistance fighters in two cars, one of them a Kia and the other a
Passat, abducted the brother of "Minister Sulagh" from the al-Qadisiyah
neighborhood near the so-called "Green Zone" – the heavily-guarded area
around the Republican Palace where the US forces have established the
headquarters of their occupation.
At the time of reporting, the correspondent wrote, US and Iraqi
puppet forces were completely surrounding the al-Qadisiyah neighborhood
and surrounding areas.
Son of Iraqi puppet "Defense" official kidnapped.
In a dispatch posted at 9:40pm Mecca time Tuesday night, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that sources in the Iraqi puppet police had reported
that Iraqi Resistance fighters had kidnapped the son of Brigadier
General Sabah 'Abd al-Karim, the Secretary of the puppet "Iraqi
Minister of Defense."
The Kuwaiti News agency reported a source in the Iraqi puppet
"Interior Ministry" who refused to be identified as saying that armed
men had abducted Husayn Sabah in western Baghdad’s al-Mansur district.
The source said that Sabah was lead away to an unknown destination and
that the puppet authorities were investigating the incident.
Turkish ambassador wounded in Resistance attack on road to Saddam International Airport.
In a dispatch posted at 3:30pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that Turkish ambassador to occupied Iraq had
been wounded when his motorcade was attacked by Resistance fighters in
western Baghdad.
Quds Press, as monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam, reported a source in
the puppet "Iraqi Interior Ministry" as saying that the Turkish
Ambassador’s motorcade had been hit by gunfire on the way to Saddam
International Airport. The shots left the ambassador slightly wounded
and damaged one of the cars in the motorcade.
Mass grave of 21 Iraqi Sunnis killed by puppet "Interior Ministry" forces discovered in south Baghdad.
In a dispatch posted at 7:40pm Mecca time Tuesday, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that a mass grave of 21 Iraqi Sunnis had been
discovered at the heavy water treatment plant in the south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a medical source
as saying that he bodies were found by accident. All were Sunnis who
had been arrested several weeks ago by puppet "Interior Ministry"
forces.
The correspondent noted that the puppet "Interior Ministry,"
currently at the center of a torture scandal, only acknowledged the
discovery of four bodies all of which, the "Ministry" claimed, had been
killed by Islamists.
The bodies of the 21 victims of the US-installed puppet security
service were all taken to a morgue until they could be handed back to
their families.

Resistance land mine blasts puppet "Shock Troops" ("Maghawir") Tuesday morning.
In a dispatch posted at 1:50pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance land mine had
exploded by a foot patrol of puppet "Iraqi Interior Ministry Shock
Troops" in the city of al-Hillah, south of Baghdad on Tuesday morning.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Lieutenant
Muhammad 'Ali of the puppet "Shock Troops" as saying that the land
mine, which had been planted under a rubbish heap, blew up and killed
four of the "Shock Troops" and wounded two more of them.
Immediately after the attack, the "Shock Troops" arrested a number
of local Sunni residents without explaining why they had been taken.

US air raid kills 14 members of Iraqi family in Bayji.
In a dispatch posted at 7:30pm Mecca time Tuesday evening, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that a spokesman for the Iraqi puppet security forces
had said Tuesday that 14 members of one Iraqi family had been killed in
a US air raid on the town of Bayji, north of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported the spokesman for
the puppet "Joint Coordination Center" (that oversees communications
between the US occupation forces and their Iraqi subordinates) as
saying that the US airraid had destroyed a house, killing the 14
members of the family who were inside.
Reuters, as monitored by Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the
American raid, which took place on Monday night, damaged four other
houses as well, wounding three more people. The spokesman said that the
news of the attack and its casualties had reached them from the Iraqi
puppet police and puppet army in Bayji.
Mafkarat al-Islam noted that Bayji had seen many attacks by the
Resistance aimed at interrupting the plunder of Iraqi oil by the
occupation regime via the pipeline that runs from Iraq’s biggest
refineries in Bayji to the Turkish port of Ceyhan.

Ba 'qubah.
Resistance fighters kill four Iraqi translators working for US
troops, bringing the total number of translator collaborators killed in
Ba'qubah alone since the US invasion to 26.
In a dispatch posted at 4:30pm Mecca time Tuesday, Mafkarat
al-Islam reported that Iraqi Resistance fighters had attacked a car
carrying a group of Iraqis who work for the US occupation as
translators. The attack took place as the translators’ car was emerging
from the US base in the Kharnabat area just northwest of Ba'qubah.
The Ba'qubah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported Dr. 'Ali
al-'Ubaydi of Ba'qubah General Hospital as saying that four Iraqis
ranging in age between 25 and 40 years were shot to death inside their
red Opel Vectra car. Dr. al-'Ubaydi said that the documents found in
the clothing of the dead indicated that they were translators working
for the US occupation forces in the city.
The correspondent reported that the latest deaths bring the total
number of Iraqi translators killed by the Resistance while working for
the Americans in Ba'qubah since the invasion to 26. The Mafkarat
al-Islam correspondent obtained that data from medical authorities who
are keeping the records.
Al-Mundhiriyah.
Three US troops reported killed in roadside bombing on Iraq-Iran border.
In a bulletin posted at 10:30am Mecca time Tuesday morning,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that shortly before, an Iraqi Resistance
bomb had exploded by a US military patrol in the Qaws Sa'd area of
al-Mundhiriyah on the Iraq-Iran border.
The al-Mundhiriyah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a
source in the Iraqi puppet "National Guard" as saying that the
high-explosive bomb went off by a Humvee in the American patrol,
killing three US Marines and wounding two more of them.
Afterwards a number of US military vehicles arrived in the area to
cordon off the scene as helicopter flew in and landed to evacuate the
casualties.
Resistance bomb wounds American troops in an-Najaf.
In a dispatch posted at 3:10pm Mecca time Tuesday afternoon,
Mafkarat al-Islam reported that an Iraqi Resistance bomb had exploded
by a US military column by an-Najaf Lake outside the city, which is
located south of Baghdad.
The correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported a source in the
Iraqi puppet police as saying that the attack, which had happened only
a short while earlier, had wounded several US troops.
