December 9, 2012 - By the end of Sunday, LCC was able to document 116 martyrs, including 4 women and 10 children. 41 martyrs were reported in Damascus and its suburbs; 32 martyrs in Aleppo, including 20 who had been burned near the Air Force Intelligence branch; 22 in Idlib, including 7 members of a single family; 8 in Homs; 8 in Daraa; and 5 in Deir Ezzor. The LCC was able to document 257 points of shelling, including 5 areas that were subjected to barrel bombing and 12 areas subjected to aerial shelling. 79 areas were subjected to mortar shelling; 127 areas were subjected to artillery shelling; and 51 areas were subjected to missile attacks. The Free Syrian Army clashed with regime forces in 97 areas. The most significant clashes took place in Damascus and its suburbs. The FSA struck the Port Said checkpoint in Qadam and a defense factory in Sayeda Zainab, as well as the northern checkpoint at Shayzar Palace in Hama...

By the end of Sunday, LCC was able to document 116 martyrs, including 4 women and 10 children. 41 martyrs were reported in Damascus and its suburbs; 32 martyrs in Aleppo, including 20 who had been burned near the Air Force Intelligence branch; 22 in Idlib, including 7 members of a single family; 8 in Homs; 8 in Daraa; and 5 in Deir Ezzor.

The LCC was able to document 257 points of shelling, including 5 areas that were subjected to barrel bombing and 12 areas subjected to aerial shelling. 79 areas were subjected to mortar shelling; 127 areas were subjected to artillery shelling; and 51 areas were subjected to missile attacks.

The Free Syrian Army clashed with regime forces in 97 areas. The most significant clashes took place in Damascus and its suburbs. The FSA struck the Port Said checkpoint in Qadam and a defense factory in Sayeda Zainab, as well as the northern checkpoint at Shayzar Palace in Hama. The FSA stormed the 111th brigade in Aleppo, liberated three companies within the brigade, and destroyed the Jazeera checkpoint at the entrance to Raqqa city. The FSA repelled a number of regime attempts to storm Daraya, Mouadamieh, and towns and cities in Eastern Ghouta. The FSA also destroyed a large amount the regime's military equipment, incuding armored personnel carriers, in several Syrian cities.

Damascus suburbs: Yalda: Fierce clashes between FSA and regime forces reported at the checkpoint of Aljad Gas station, along with shooting from heavy and medium-grade machine guns.

Damascus suburbs: Rhaiba: Strong explosions rocked the city, probably it is bombardment from Brigade 81.

Homa: Alghanto: Some injured including women and children by fierce mortar, tanks and artillery shelling from Molouk check point.

Hama: Kafar Zaita: Shelling by Fozlika artillery restarted and sounds of explosions rocked the city.

Damascus suburbs: Shab'a: Fierce shelling reported by rocket launchers at the town.

Latakia: Salma: Fierce artillery shelling at the village from Enbata observatory.

Raqqa: Huge explosions rocked the city from the western direction.

Homs: Talbiseh: Regime forces are launching artillery from Mashrafa village and Ashrafiyeh toward southern Mashjar and the heart of the city.

Damascus Suburbs: Erbeen: Fierce artillery and mortar shelling was reported in the city.

Damascus Suburbs: Douma: Aimen Kerdas was martyed during artillery shelling in the city.

Deir Ezzor: Fierce artillery shelling was reported in the Ummal district.

Damascus Suburbs: Shaaba: Sami Shanaa, a youth, and Omar Khayat, a child, were martyred as a result of fierce shelling in the town.

Deir Ezzor: Renewal of shelling from the Deir Ezzor Military Airport on the neighborhoods of the city.

Damascus Suburbs: Hosh Arab: Fierce artillery shelling was reported at the outskirts of the village amid a complete power outage.

Deir Ezzor: Severe shelling was reported in Hamidiyeh Neighborhood.

Homs: Rastan: Regime forces are launching fierce artillery shelling from the Engineering Battalion north of the city.

Damascus: Hajar Al-Aswad: Regime forces have launched a fierce missile and mortar shell attack on the area.

Damascus: Yarmouk Camp: Regime forces raided the Falluja School and arrest a large number of refugees.

Daraa: Hara: A powerful explosion shook the southern part of the city.

Damascus Suburbs: Harasta: Omar Muhammed Madah was martyred during clashes with regime forces near to motor vehicles.

Daraa: Tal Shehab: A wounded has fallen by a BMB gunfire belongs to the regime forces at the borders with Tara.

Homs: Fierce clashes between the FSA and regime forces in Jouret Shayah neighborhood along with intensive gunfire by the regime forces checkpoints towards the neighborhood.

Damascus Suburbs: Harasta: Muhammed Ajebena was martyred during clashes with the regime forces.

Daraa: Dael: Osama Shehada Jamous was martyred due to explosion of a mine planted by the regime forces in the city.

Daraa: Tafas: Fierce artillery shelling was reported in the city, more than 10 shells fell so far.

Daraa: Tafas: Missile shelling in the city, 6 missiles fell in the southern neighborhood so far.

Damascus: Barzeh: Jamal Boushi was martyred by Social Committees gunfire in Barzeh highway near to Hanbali Hall.

Daraa: Naseeb: Intensive gunfire from anti-aircraft machine guns towards the town amid electricity blackout.

Damascus: Asali: Renewed artillery and mortar shelling in the neighborhood.

Damascus Suburbs: Zamalka: Fierce missile and mortar shelling were reported in the city.

Damascus: Qaboun: Muhiye Dein Labad was martyred under torture by the regime forces.

Daraa: Inkhil: Fierce clashes between the FSA and regime forces (Brigade 15) after defection of some soldiers from the regime forces, along with mortar shelling from the artillery located at Jabab.

Deir Ezzor: Mohasan: Fierce artillery shelling from Deir Ezzor Military Airport towards the city.

Hama: Shezar: The FSA liberated the northern checkpoint of Shezr Caste amid clashes between the FSA and regime forces.

Hama: Artillery and missile shelling were reported in the city.

Damascus Suburbs: Mouadhamiya: 7 martyrs and tens of wounded were reported due to fierce artillery shelling in the city, the martyrs are: Ayman Sheikh, Muhammed Adila, Muhammed Merae Karbouj, Ahmed Khatib, Kholoud Abdullah Hamdan Sawan and Muhammed Mustafa Jaber.

Daraa: Dael: Moayad Nour Dein Hariri and Abdulrahman Abu Zaid were martyred as a result of mine explosion planted by the regime forces in the city.

Aleppo: Intermittent artillery shelling was reported in Bustan Basha, along with gunfire by the regime's snipers and intermittent clashes between the FSA and regime forces.

Dael: Many wounded have fallen due to explosion of a mine planted by the regime forces.

Damascus Suburbs: Douma: Fierce mortar shelling is reported in the city.

Damascus Suburbs: Hosh Arab: Fierce artillery shelling was reported in the town.

Daraa: Tafs: Fierce shelling targeted the city hospital and medical personnel are issuing pleas for relief assistance.

Daraa: Tafs: Ms. Afaf Haritheen was martyred and a number of wounded were reported after regime forces launched missile attacks at the town.

Hama: Asharna: Regime forces are launching missiles at the village.

Idlib: Mar Ayan: A mother and her six children were martyred as a result of shelling in the village in a new massacre committed by the regime.

Idlib: Jabal Al-Zawiyeh: Seven people were martyred as a result of the fierce shelling on Ahsam town. Of the martyrs, the following were identified: Ahmad Nader Karroum, Mouhanad Karroum, Abdel Razzaq Karroum, and two of Abdel Qader Karroum's sons.

Quneitra: Bir Ajam: Fierce mortar and artillery shelling were reported in the town.

Idlib: Jabal Al-Zawiyeh: Seven members of the Karroum family were martyred as a result of the fierce shelling on Ahsam town.

Damascus: Renewed fire from missile launchers and mortar shells was reported in the southern neighborhoods, and clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime's army continue in Qadam neighborhood.

Damascus Suburbs: Mouadamiet Al-Sham: Ayman Ibrahim Al-Sheikh was martyred while he was defending civilians.

Damascus Suburbs: Qatna: 2 unidentified bodies were found behind the Industrial School, in the basement of a house.

Damascus Suburbs: Harasta: Bilal Fawzi Outoz was martyred during clashes with the regime's forces at the Motor-Vehicles Department. He was from Douma.

Damascus: Rukneddin: Security deployment is reported in front of Abo Al-Nour Mosque and several passers-by are being arrested indiscriminately.

Damascus Suburbs: Daraya: The body of an unidentified martyrs was found behind Salam mosque, at the end of Dahadeel road.

Daraa: Security and armed thugs spread in Daraa Al-Mahata, along with buses and security cars.

Aleppo: Artillery shelling is reported in Sakhour neighborhood by the regime forces.

Damascus: Jobar: Heavy and indiscriminate gunfire from Misloun Checkpoint.

Hasakeh: Sounds of a large explosions were reported, followed by sounds of ambulance cars and sounds of rescue cars.

Aleppo: Omar Maree, a 22 year old from Fardaws Neighborhood, was martyred in Misloun Neighborhood.

Aleppo: Continuous artillery shelling from Zahra'a on the perimeter of Regiment 111, along with clashes between the Free Syrian Army and regime forces in the neighboring villages of the regiment.
